  • Reckon this is better and you can upgrade the RAM and SSD inside easily when 20% off promotion is on:

    • HDMI 1.4* (The maximum resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1080 @60Hz. No 4K2K output)

Can only output 1080, does that include over a dock or only via the HDMI port? I’m keeping a eye out for a new laptop to connect to my LG C2 so needs HDMI.

It would appear that this laptop does not have USB-C or thunderbolt port, which is surprising for a $1,000+ laptop.
You can also have the option to downgrade your RAM from 16GB to 8GB for an extra $305!!!

For $610 you can be RAM free!!

For $50 more you can get Intel NUC M15 i7 touch version which will likely have better build quality, better screen, lighter weight and much bigger battery.

    • Been eyeing on the nuc m15 for a while, wondering why they haven’t started selling the 12 gen cpu version? Or I am missing something?

They were only announced last month - honestly I'm waiting for the same thing. If that was out, I'd be sorted.

Not worth it IMO. The display quality on these is fairly bad (45% NTSC, 600:1 contrast ratio), no USB-C and small battery.

The Inspiron 16 is a much better deal for a bit more money.
