    Booked 2 tickets SYD-MEL return for $150 total ($30x4 + $30 booking). Can't complain about that. Here's to hoping the flights are on time!

      Yes I booked 2 tickets PER-MEL for $313 total. Not too shabby, but I don't think their will be any promises on on time flights!

      Booked 2 tickets SYD-MEL return $107 using jetstar price match. When you price match you also don't have to pay the cc fee (even when using non-jetstar credit cards).

    "Raw" domestic fares must be purchased online using a MasterCard debit card issued by an Australian financial institution.

    Does this actually matter?

      They charge you an additional fee to use any other payment method, so the flights will no longer be quite as cheap as above

      They charge you a $30.00 booking fee if you don't use a Mastercard Debit

        Yep, call them and ask them to do a price match. The Tiger fare that you want them to price match has to be available at the time you call.

          Great will call them up! If they honer the sale fare for this long weekend..
          Tiger cost me less than 600 for 4 adult + infant.
          On Jetstar, they cost me $1200+.
          Hope they will honer it, i try it now!

      Awesome thanks for this.. just got 3 ticket price match for Jetstar Brisbane to Sydney for about $101 all up.

      Just called the 1300 369 516 phone number

      and made sure the jetstar flight was within an hour of the tigerairways flight

        Do you mean that if the tigerairway's flight sets to depart at 11.00am, jetstar will do the one within 10am-12.00pm range?

          The comparable fare must be for a one way direct flight on the same route at a comparable time.

          Comparable Time - the other airline's flight must be a direct flight for the exact route departing and arriving at the same airports as the jetstar flight, and must be scheduled to depart within 1 hour of the applicable Jetstar airways flight.

          Also.. I used American Express too!!!
          I don't own a mastercard.

    Tiger Airways 2.0 not to bad apparently. I hear one of the big chiefs from Virgin is the ceo. No flight cancellations, 9 months in a row of top on time performance.

    Might be worth a second shot. I will actually get there on time!

      ive flown with tiger to sydney return 3 times, all 3 were on time, well, they arrive at the scheduled time, they dont leave at the scheduled time however, this time is put down so that u get there early, and allows for some delayed flights.

        Yeah alot of people think Departure time is wheels up time, departure time is actually chocks off time (which is basically when the final aircraft door is closed).
