Good luck getting the tracking to work reliably and consistantly. Recent apple purchase made through the cashrewards app with absolutely no ad blocking or other possible problems was not tracked. Similarly with a chrome browser purchase with no plugins. Cashrewards is unreliable recently and I would not trust them to actually provide you the cahsback they claim the will. Poor service

Recent apple purchase made through the cashrewards app…

Are you aware of the terms & exclusions around this?

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/apple

I triple checked the terms and even made sure to purchase directly with the cashrewards android app, with no ad blocking software, no antivirus software, no other apps which could affect tracking, no coupons yet it still somehow did not work. I even took screenshots during the purchase process of the transaction and the cashrewards sale terms at the time because i have been stung before with a mysterious lack of tracking. I even returned the same product i bought on ebay a day earlier so i could buy direct from Apple instead. Yet despite all of this it did not track and the customer support team said bad luck we can't help you muts have done something wrong. I got some generic message about how i must have used AdBlocking on my PC browser - this despite clearly saying that i used the cashrewards Android app and supplied screenshots. It seems no one bothered to read what i wrote.

I should have just kept the ebay product i bought as it would have been cheaper and i did not have to wait months to find out that the tracking is unreliable and useless.

edit: the product was keyboard for the Ipad Pro 11 inch which was not part of any exclusions and was eligible for cashback

      • Hey TA, I had similar experience as Qvinto with my recent Apple purchase.

Transaction not tracked despite following direct link from Cashrewards website, no AdBlock, promo code or any other plugin involved. Frankly the price was similar to other stores AFTER the bonus cashback, took my bets with CR because of prior good experience, but the inconsistency can really throw people off.

I agree with qvinto that making enquiry after purchase tends to be fruitless. After months of waiting for approval, customer support just comes back with the same blanket statement re. Adblock/ third-party website. There was no following up on their 'investigation' with Apple. By the time CR gives a definitive 'no' and rejects my cashback, it's way past the point of returning the product.

@tightarse are you able to look into this for us?

    • I beg to differ, been using CR for years now, never once had an issue with tracking or reliability.

    • Issue has been resolved with great help from customer rep. I retract my negative comments :-)

  • Are purchases from Bonds Outlet eligible? Or strictly Bonds.com.au?
