Elgato Facecam, not a historic low but a good price for a higher end but still budget webcam. I have been eyeing this and the Logitech brio off for a little while waiting for a decent price and picked this up!

  FWIW, you can get the Razor Kiyo Pro which has the same sensor, and a microphone (this one has none, it assumes you are a leet streamer), for example this one is $172 atm.

    They're both Sony STARIS sensors - both originally intended for high quality security cameras - but I'm not sure if they're exactly the same.

    Close enough though, especially when you can get the Kiyo Pro on sale for $130.

  I would have gone for the Logitech. From what I gather the elgato facecam has no mic or autofocus.

  I am getting this, I'm waiting for a Sony ZV-E10 to go on sale, but for now I think the simpler webcam like this will do.
  I have a Logitech Streamcam (USB-C) which is good, but aim to use this elgato as my Primary (I'm running out of USB-C ports, so this USB3.0 will be good)
  Reviews on YouTube seem to show this has better visuals/software than the Razor (which I've owned), and Logitech Streamcam (Didn't think about the Brio at the time though).

  my pick is definitly Kiyo Pro or Brio over this "but still budget" Elgato Facecam anyday. "but still budget"? wtf!

  Does this compete with the logitech brio or streamcam, given brio is 4k above the elgateo and streamcam at 1080p 60hz?
