[Afterpay] Eureka Mignon Specialita 55 Coffee Grinder $577.11 Delivered @ Alternative Brewing eBay

650
AFPAYDAY

Eureka Mignon Specialita Coffee Grinder - Black or White colours for $577.11. Chrome is extra.

Probably the cheapest it has ever been for what I would have to assume is AU stock. Its only $60 or so more than the long running Espresso Coffee Shop deal but with AU plug and AU warranty and doesn't need to be shipped from Italy. I'd be happy to pay the extra if I was looking for one.

      • I dont think you'll be worried about that $20 in 10 years time when the grinder is still grinding away!

        • haha so the question now is white or black?

          • @A9z4444: I know its only $20, but I think this tips it in favour of the [https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/701518](ECS Deal), at nearly a $100 less.

Given that the grinder has such a reputation for being well built and long lasting, hopefully warranty won't be an issue.

  • I wonder how you guys manage 2 kinds of beans (say daily and decaf) at the same time? (Besides the obvious and expensive answer of buying 2 grinders)

    • I hand grind, and I know the difference in grind required. When I start using a machine, I will be single dosing, and again, I'll figure out the relevant settings.

I'm usually just a little finer on the decaf, but only a couple of notches on my grinder. It's easy to remember.

      • I feel it is too hard to get it spot-on with the Specialita lacking a proper indicator of coarseness level. I think I will easily waste a couple of double-shots changing beans. Doing it on daily basis is simply not economically (or at least mentally/morally) feasible.

    • Single dose grinders is far better for this case

      • I usually make 4~5 regular double-shots during the day and 1 decaf at night. Seems a bit inconvenient (and expensive) going single dose.
I am thinking of maybe getting the Comandante C40 mk3 for the decaf, with the afterpay discount seems like an all-time low at $288. One relaxing hand grinding session at night sounds alright.
