Courtesy to Afterpay. This is probably one of the cheapest prices for a Dyson V10 to date. Granted this isn’t the absolute+, however it is still $100 cheaper by losing out on the soft roller head.

How does it compare to Miele triflex hx1 pro? If someone has used them
Not sure why this has so many likes. It's a V10 without the fluffy head which retails for $149 from Dyson. If you buy this and want a fluffy head it's still about $750 which makes this an OK deal. Most want a fluffy head from what I've read.
The v10 absolute comes down to $679 so still a pretty good deal.

It also comes with the new motorbar head rather than the direct drive - seems like $85 more for the fluffy head and the newer motorbar head is a much better deal
The V10 Absolute plus one on ebay, that comes down to $679.15, comes with the Direct drive cleaner head and not the motorbar head.
I think they just got the description wrong on ebay, the SKU (36338901) is the same as the v10 absolute+ on Dyson website that comes with the motorbar

"Thank you for waiting, the Product Number 363389-01 on the eBay page will be our 2021 version.

So then I guess the Dyson website is wrong as the 363389-01 version on the Dyson website is showing it comes with a motorhead (https://www.dyson.com.au/dyson-cyclone-v10-absolute-plus)… all these stupid different models are really annoying.
Either way, I ordered from eBay and if the direct drive arrives then they are getting some jimboner complaints
@jimboner: The ebay add says it has the below accessories which may make that argument harder.
Soft dusting brush, FluffyTM cleaner head, Filter, Stubborn dirt brush, Combination tool, Mini motorised tool, Drop-in dock, Extension Hose, Charger, Direct drive cleaner head, Crevice Tool, Flexi crevice tool
@CannedSpoon: The 2022 V10 Absolute+ version with Motorbar is $1,199 on their website, per your link however they also have the V10 Absolute+ with $400 off, so $799 on their website and the "in the box" description says it includes the Motorbar Cleaner head.

"This model Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute+ (363389-01) will be our 2021 model and come with the Direct Drive Motorhead.

Can confirm it came with the direct drive. I bought without reading the comments and was disappointed upon trying as hair got tangled up. The Dyson website mention direct drive & anti tangling in the same page so I just assumed I will be getting it. However I managed to get onto live chat and they offered to send the motorbar attachment for free, very impressed with the customer service!
Did you order via eBay? And complain on Dyson website chat? My plan is to complain when it arrives as I presume I am in the same boat. Genuinely ordered thinking that the eBay listing pictures were incorrect as the matching model on Dyson website listed the motorbar/detangling attachment
@paperkut: Does anyone know what is the part number for the motorbar/detangling attachment ?. My part number is 248528 but I am having a hard time figuring out if it is Motorbar or Direct Drive :(
@paperkut: I just spoke to a live chat agent, no offer of a free motor attachment, just got told to return it and ordered the V10 from Dyson website for $699 (which comes with a motorbar head). Shame this AfterPay 15% off deal has ended, so no deal for me.
i also managed to get the free motorbar by talking with support, can't complain with that! My v8 dyson is now being retired.
Got one from Amazon US 2 years ago and it died within 6 months, while the V6 is still going strong after 6 or 7 years.

Has anyone actually successfully contacted the Dyson on eBay? I have tried to no avail through their email or online forms and still no luck. The CSRs on their phone lines are also unable to assist as it's sold via eBay…

so what is the differences between the motor bar and the direct drive then?
I want to know too. So I can decide to
1) buy the v10 animal
2) buy the v10 absolute +
3) wait for a better deal

Got the delivery today - it comes with direct drive head as expected.
Hi just wondering those who just received their V10s today, do any of you notice that the head vibrates a fair amount when vacuuming on hard surfaces?
Because my one seems to have a bit of vibration. My old old V6 certainly did not vibrate this much.
Hi, do you have a color box for your V10? Or a normal cardboard packaging? I received my V10 which has some dust in the dust bin. I think I may have refurbished one sent to me.
My v10 came in the retail colour box. It looked new to my eye.
I complained to Dyson and they sent me a new head.
Much better performance from the new floor head.
Have many of you received the dyson vacuum as am still waiting for mine. AusPost ETA was 5 Sept but still no show :(
Received mine within one week when I ordered it last month.

I was thinking the same, but the $50 ones aren't authentic. Can't find any cheaper than $150 for genuine ones. Seems like it's better to buy the absolute plus if you want the fluffy. Even if you don;t can probably sell the head on ebay for more than the extra you pay
