When does it have to be activated by? Can the recharge part be used on an existing Amaysim SIM or does it have to go on the provided SIM?
Also the link in the faint small print www.amaysim.com.au/7eleven doesn't work so I can't find out the T&C from Amaysim.

My guess would be no, from amaysim on FB "This offer is for new SIMs only - if you're already with us then your best bet is telling your mates about the deal and asking them to enter your phone number when they sign up. You'll get $10 credit each time they do."
Thanks, that makes sense. I'd still be interested in how long I can hang on to it before activation because I am planning to change providers, but I'm not quite ready yet. I supposed based on the ad, 02/07 + a bit more time, but it would be nice to know when.
I contacted Amaysim, and the service rep said that the special SIM pack had only to be bought before the end of the offer on 2/7 and that there was no expiry date for activation. The $20 credit will be applied on activation. So if you were planning to sign up or switch but a bit later, it's ok to buy this in preparation.
Note that at their low rates of for example 12c/minute and no flagfall, $20 credit gives you 166 minutes talk time, which is decent compared to the artificially inflated rates of some other providers.
Can you get a microsim as part of this offer?
How long is the credit good for? Is it for as you go?
