Yeah great video and I had just bought a cheaper dash cam myself.
Couldn't understand the price of a Blackvue whenimages are just as good from the cheaper one I bought.For those too lazy or don't like YouTube adverts:
There is no significant difference in the quality from good midrange cameras like the Viofo and expensive ones like Blackview. They use the same image sensors, same or similar SOC (processor) and the only difference is the price.Video goes into more detail and worth the watch as they have a car drive around with 9 cameras and show the difference in image quality.
He was just pointing out the image quality of GoPro is league ahead of these dashcams for similar money, not suggesting it was a practical solution
Good price. Better check if they're genuine Australian stocks from Blackvue, or they're parallel imports. Most of the ebay sellers would "promise" a year of warranty by "contacting them in case of issues".
BlackVue Australia offers 3-year warranty, if bought from authorised retailers.
It is genuine AU stock. Not sure if they are the authorised retailer.
AU stocks could be parallel imported too. Did you ask the seller who's responsible for warranty, say in 2.5 years ?
Seller provides 2 years warranty.
Yeah I bought AU stock off SportGPS… Turns out they aren't an Australian distributor. So you can't claim the 3 year warranty.

I just wish Viofo made a more compact/discreet model, Blackvue style without a screen.
My 750s-2ch always seems to have connection issues. I'm surprised I can't view the videos easily.
I'm not sure I'd get another BlackVue.Definitely a slim line, unobtrusive camera though
