Good deal. Pd $599 when they had the ebay/afterpay sales. Really good scooter

+1 Excellent product, zero complaints with mine

      • Ditto

  • I must have gotten a dud. The computer would randomly become unresponsive (or turn itself on in the night and not be able to be turned off). Scooter itself isn't too bad I guess, battery didn't seem that great. Beware that you're going to struggle up any gradients.

Also after sales service from this company was questionable. Took me months to get a refund and that was only because I posted a negative review on productreview.com.au

Got mine around 1 year ago, just clocked 1000kms. Very happy with it. For those who interested what you get when you buy one, how to assemble it, and my personal (e.g. not paid to say things) view on the first ride I made a couple of amateur videos to help community out there:

    1. Unboxing and first impressions: https://youtu.be/zTgpZI560q4
    2. Assembly and initial set up: https://youtu.be/tD8S__Mnr_4
    3. Set up and frustrations: https://youtu.be/IrCC-OMES30
    4. First ride and impressions: https://youtu.be/rlKjRLnrp_8

Still very happy with it, still on original tyres. Keep in mind - it is vanilla of the e-scooter, no performance, no significant fun - pure practicality….

Nice, I got 1700km on my Ninebot ES and I'm also very happy with it. Ninebot and Xiaomi are both easy options for practical e-scoots.

They're good, practical, reliable and sightly underwhelming😁

        • Hehe sorry for the late reply but I've fixed the underwhelming issue on mine. My Ninebot ES is pushing 1400w and is incredibly fast. I've reached 40km/h on it, and it accelerates from 0-25 in 2.5 seconds. Definitely not underwhelming anymore. It's a heap of fun to ride, and I'm happy that I'm able to ride it to and from work every day :)

@Zackeroo: Yeah, you can do that to almost any e-scooter, but police are getting more and more active about catching all misbehaving e-scooter riders in and around Brisbane. I prefer to do boring for longer LOL.

            • @Kapitoshka: Owning a capable e-scooter doesn't mean I misbehave. The only reason my scooter has survived 1700km even with these modifications is because I barely use full power. I have custom mapped each of my modes (eco, standard, sport) and have tuned them to how much power I would use on a daily basis.

For the most part, I use the standard mode. It's quick enough, and is a really good middle ground between power and economy. I get around 35-40km of range with this mode.

With eco I can get around 45km of range, and use this when I take the scoot out for a cruise, or if I'm trying to get somewhere with low battery hahaha.

Sports mode is insane. Really brings out all the power in the scooter, and I only ever use this if I'm in a massive rush (and I got a nice straight route), or if I'm in a race with someone lol.

I don't ever ride on roads, and the only time I speed is when I got a clear path in front of me. I've never had an accident, and consider myself a safe rider that's for sure.

And no, you can't do this on "almost any e-scooter". There are very few that are as capable as the Ninebot ES in terms of speed modifications.

@Zackeroo: Huge thank you for sharing, it is good to know. This is why I love the community. Everyone shares their story and willing to help! Thank you!

                • @Kapitoshka: Aww no worries! Scootering is a hobby for me. I love it cause it's like having your own little moped that can fit under your desk when you come home. It's so much fun.

I just wish it was legal here in NSW :(

I know many people who have received fines while simply standing with their scooter. The Police assumed they were riding it and these people didn't even bother to contest it. $2700 fines here in NSW, it's terrible.

Lucky my route to work is very closed off. I only have to cross one road and everything else is secluded bike paths.

@Zackeroo: Yes, I think it is just matter of time before it becomes legal. The time that I believe for you can't come fast enough. Best wishes!!!

  • Can anyone confirm if this has front and rear shock suspension?

    • 😆 even posted videos for you above… No suspension.

    • A rep with a suspension scooter recently posted a deal. Kugoo i think?
