  • 60hz fyi

  • No reviews on rtings. How is this as a computer monitor?

Clearly I listed it as tv

I believe kogi is seeking feedback from others on whether this can be used as a computer monitor, rather than questioning your listing of the TV.

    • Considering that its not really that cheap, it's only 60hz and if you can stretch just a little price wise you can pick up a really well reviewed monitor https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m32u I would skip this for sure.

people use 50 inch monitors at arms length?

      • +1

I've see plenty of stuff on YouTube about the 48 and 42 inch LG Oled's as gaming monitors and they all seem to mention the potential for eye/neck strain.

        • +1

The OLEDs are also unique in the fact that they're OLED - which is extremely rare for computer monitors.

For a LCD TV, the only primary difference is that it's… bigger than a normal computer monitor.

      • I do. I use it for dev work, so colour quality and refresh rate aren't important. What is important is real estate and a 50" 4k TV is basically like having four 24" FHD monitors.
