I tried it and found it to be mostly white chocolate than green tea flavour and very sweet. Cafe Grande would be my pick.

The white choc balances out the bitterness….or at least it's meant to. I remember eating it once and thinking that the matcha was really sweet already.
I think so, they got rid of the matcha flavour for a while but then it came back. I got a tub recently and it still tasted nice but yeah definitely not the same.
i still enjoy it even though i rag on it, the taste of green tea is barely there. But i like to imagine im still eating green tea because its my favorite flavor.

I remember when it was $5 full price. When it was owned by Browne's Dairy. They used all natural ingredients. Then multinational bought it and it is no longer all natural and doesn't taste as good.
Good to know, I've only tried it for the first time recently and thought it was overrated and not even good quality icecream.

Anyone know why the Woolworth's and Coles Vegan Icecream hasn't been available for months? Sucks they aren't around anymore. Was the only decent cheap vegan option, the cookies and cream Woolworth one was delish.
Those were most likely made in the Norco ice cream factory which was damaged in the Lismore floods and is yet to be rebuilt.
Same issue with Coles brand ice cream, which has recently returned.

I grabbed the Belgian chocolate, and the mint and cookies last time they were half price - I actually prefer the aldi versions of both of these, for a cheaper standard price than even half price from connoisseur… Am I crazy?
Agree, I've been buying Aldis mint choc chip as it's cheaper than conn 1/2 price, to me I don't notice the difference (although I haven't done a side by side taste test lol), I don't jump on connoisseur sales anymore. The hinterland macadamia flavour is amaaaazing though but I don't see that 1/2 price much :(

Love this and also luvin' the Bulla Murray St. range like the super decadent(s) Chocolate & Fudge Ripple and Strawberry & Cream (so far) which I got for $6 each as well.
I remember when 1L of icecream was 50 c and the milk maid would drop it off to your front door, another 50c and she would hand feed it to you as well, among other things…
