these were the ducks nuts before Drones got big

    • hells yeah good times and don't break as easy much better.

    • Yes, they were the same price many years ago, and awesome.

But then we got mini quad-copters for the same price or less. The price has gone up a bit as demand dropped.

      e.g. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/stunt-quadcopter-43149551/

These "helicopters" are a lot harder to fly. Not recommended for kids, or adults.

    • Drones got smaller though.

6AA batteries.. where are the eneloop deals :)

Funny how they have eliminated the top rotor from all the shots (except the shot with the flybar, which only shows the top rotor and flybar).

  • Thanks OP, bought one

  • Got Additional $3.12 discount on top of $19 as part of their offer. paid $15.88. b'day gift sorted out, thanks OP.

    • what offer?

      • There was 8% discount offer added to my cart.

        • wow, don't see that one. there was one offer but once I apply the code PLUSSYMA it supersedes the prior one, so end price is still $19.

  • Bought one of these for a 8 year olds present. Kid loved it, and apparently quite easy to fly too

  • Thanks OP, for $19 it's worth a try.

  • Flight time?

    • Yeah, I struggled to find this info too. Thought it would be obvious.

    • 8minutes from reviews.

  • You need x2 so while one is charging play with the other. I have a few still sitting on my shelf. Good easy to fly & fun.

Interesting code. I misread it at first.

  • These are fun, grabbed one, thanks mate

  • Thanks op, got it for my kid :)

    Looks to be OOS now

  • OOS

  • I had the much larger brother of these that Jaycar use to sell. I can tell you these things are way harder to fly than a quad drone and a tonne more dangerous if you don't know what you are doing and you are near it.

Maybe these smaller ones are more fun?

    • The small ones as noted in this deal is very very easy to fly as only has Forward/Reverse/Left pivot/Right pivot. Power controls the lift.
More for indoors and testing your skills taking off from one table, flying around the room and landing. Not great outdoors unless a very calm day.

Learn from my experience and don't fly them outdoor. They are very lightweight, even slight breeze can push them away from you. Once you lose connection with the controller you will not be seeing your helicopter again.

  • this reminds me of the 20 dollar RC heli back in the day when catch of the day started lol.

  • Is this heli working for anyone?

    • I have a few from the the past and they still work although little batteries are getting old so only last a few minutes!
