    Meh, cheaper on eBay
    - no waiting for Boost to actually post it
    - no waiting for CR

$238 here, usually gettable for under $230

I got this 2 days ago at officeworks, they price beat lucky mobile. I bought 2 x $213.50.

    • Did you call them online 1300 officeworks?

      • no just went into store. They had to okay it their boss.

    • Who are you price match with? thank you

Went to one store and they stated since they have different expiry dates, they're technically not identical products.
Drove 10kms to another officeworks and they price matched no problems.

  • I know this has probably been answered in the past; but if someone can tell me what happens at the end of the 12 months? Can you buy another 12 month sim and Boost adds it to your service ?

    • +1

Not really, these SIMs generally can't be used as a recharge, so you'll have to port out, perhaps for up to 30 days before going back to boost with another long expiry SIM.

      • Disagree, you can still gets this to recharge , however their is a bit of work around so what you need to do is go to the online chat and ask the customer service to use this sim pack as a recharge(just did one last night with no issues ) didn’t even need to port in and port out , also don’t need to port out 30 days in advance can be done with in 1-2 days using coles/Woolworths mobile from my practical experience.

        • I'm assuming this is based on pure luck in getting a CSR to go along with it, rather than the actual process?

          • @Trishool: Not for me ,have done in the past too..and few of the others mate done it too without any issues ..it might be a loophole but still get us going ..

      You
      - pay the $300 recharge
      - port out, port back in with a new starter
      - you buy a new starter & convince Boost chat to let you add that. (Given my experience with them in general, I'd rather stick a needle in my eye), but others have had luck).

Hey danstar, just get online chat with boost and all your questions will be answered.

  • Only thing wrong is that you can't make any calls to Fiji with this plan.
Even if I am willing to pay extra.

    Very annoyed.

  • What happens if you don't recharge after 365 days? Does your service work with no calls/data? Or do you lose your number?

    • 99% sure you'd keep the number and could receive calls and texts, you'd just not be able to make them from the phone (since you've got no credit or data to use)

    • I believe it would work for 14 days. Read somewhere you might lose your number after that.

  • Upsized now to $30 cashback but it’s still cheaper getting it from eBay or indirectly not from Boost Mobile themselves
