MyProtein have had their protein powders on sale for 40% off this week, upping it to 45% for today (26 August 2022).

Their sales often go as high as 50% off. Decent deal if you go for a 5kg bag, but MyProtein used to be a lot cheaper than it is now. Current pricing runs higher than Musashi, which tells you how inflated the price is.

And some reports of really short best before dates on their previous deals (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/714097), so buyer beware.

Damn you're not exactly selling me on this deal hahah

Yeah, I was floored by the price jacking and it came through.

Seems price are jacked…even with 45% discount , 5kg wpi is $230 which is $46 per kg…even costlier then BN and WPI…no deal..

  • Bought the White Chocolate and the Caramel Whey last time they had a sale, was one of the best flavour whey I have ever had. I usually get Aminoz stuff but the aftertaste kills me. However, the protein content is significantly lower for what you pay.

They jacked up the prices last night - when I checked at lunch yesterday, 5kg of WPC came out to $115 with a 45% code, but the same bag is now $165.

Yup price jacked, it's the highest I've ever seen them.

Can confirm, bought in 06/22, expiry 08/22. Made a complaint and nothing was done.

Frankly this price isn’t even worth the post.

    • Funny thing, I liked them for doing the single bag. I usually from VPA now and their 5kg option if five individual 1kg bags. I can do with less plastic in my life.

$390 for 5kg WPI before “discount”. What a joke. Google cache from 2 days ago shows they increased the price 42%.

Steer clear gents, this ain't it.

  • Can't condone what they have done here but last time I ordered from them they were the cheapest around for what I was after and I like the quality. This price jacking is deserving of the negs though.

    • They used to be fairly priced RRP and you'd just wait for a pretty regular 50% off sale. I knew things weren't good at The Hut Group but yikes.

  • Seems like prices of protein is creeping up. I usually buy my protein for under 50 dollars for 2kg at chemist warehouse. Now theyve all risen to over 65$ which is in line with standard pricing for wpc/blends at other places now.

Had a look and their proteins are pretty high purity so has more protein content than most but yes prices are super jacked and expensive lol. Rip

  • RIP cheap protons, back to the home brand tuna yeck…
