I have the MechPro version (looks the same). It was easy jacking up my ute to change the oil. The long handle bar is great. The quality of the thing seems very good. I’m happy with it.

Think you mean 100mm in the description, if only 10mm !

      10mm, suits F1
      .

    • Thanks, updated

  • Not negging but unsure why the weight of a jack is a concern? How often are we ever lifting these? Unless I'm using wrong I'm sliding it around. And the trade off being aluminium is used instead of steel? Dunno but i think I'd prefer the extra weight but extra strength of steel. I assume they only use the ally in the handle or similar?

Seems an odd benefit - as you're paying a fair bit extra vsa an all steel one and really for what?

With my apartment I have to carry it from the storage cage to my car space, and also taking it to track days. The lighter weight comes in handy

Even these light weight ones are quite heavy. Like Rapt0r said above, if you don't have storage in your garage, or move the jack about, the weight reduction is very welcome. With that said, the main reason I bought mine was for the low profile part, the reduced weight was a bonus

    • For me it's stored on a high shelf, the all steel ones are significantly heavier

    • I used to take mine to the track. Much easier to transport than my HD jack.

  • I wonder if using one of these would mean Id no longer need to use the scissor jack to lift my clubsport high enough to get a trolley jack under the front bumper

Just drive it up on to 2 pieces of wood, and that will get more height to get the jack under. It's what i do with my low cars. I'm lucky i have a 2 post hoist in my shed, so have to do that to get the arms under the car.

    • I bought a set of caravan levelling ramps on sale and use those to raise my lower cars up for jack.

Obviously they aren't rated for working under the car but they work perfect to get the height needed to slide a big jack under.

  • "10mm"

    • fixed, thanks

  • 465mm Height Raised may not be enough for large SUVs. Toolpro 3T goes up to 550mm.

  • I am not really sure why the description got updated to 4 week backorder? I still see stock ready for click and collect in my area

    • I'd check this. From previous experience their stock levels aren't accurate. I've had previous orders cancelled even though shows "in stock" on website.
