Be aware, I had the BT4.40 and the microphone was the worst I have ever used - I don't know if it's fixed in the newer models, but they look identical to this pair minus the red.

    • I've never owned them myself so thanks for that depending on how long ago you bought them I'm sure the problem would have been rectified if it was well known.

      • It was around 5 years ago - hopefully it is resolved, I can't confirm either way though :).

Nope. During calls, the microphone still insists on pumping through external noise into the speakers in an attempt to ensure you can hear what's going on around you, but it is the most disconcerting thing ever.
Great headphones if you use them as headphones, but just don't try to take calls with them.

          • @stephenmac: This was my experience too, shame it's not sorted because the sound quality is great.

I've tried the 450BT in-store. They have small earcups. These look to be the same. It's well worth trying them in store to ensure they're comfortable.

Second this. I had the earlier version (same except micro USB) and they were super uncomfortable. Let go of them because of this.

They seem to drop to this price point semi regularly at JB.

  • This was 100 bucks during prime days.

  • Owned a pair of these for 2 years.

Great sound quality, Bluetooth works well.

    Ear part isn't the biggest

  • Still using the sennheiser 4.50bt 3 years on. have had to replace the ear pads, many customisable ones online. They're great!

  • Bought one for my partner, don't like them myself.

and no I am not a bad person lol. I am a semi-audiophile while she is just a casual listener.

For my tastes it is not quite there. I am struggling to find a good headphone with good sound and good lows at this price point. There used to be options but manufacturers have suddenly changed things up. Sony for example has decided to destroy its mid range. So now what am I supposed to do.

      • Bought one from Amazon. Thanks.

        • Let me know how sound when you get them!

          • @zjz93: It took a month to arrive, coming from the UK…actually it took a long time to be dispatched, the actual delivery was not the issue.

Anyway here are my thoughts. The build quality is excellent, probably three times better than it should be relative to the cost. The sound, well it sounds very underpowered using Windows drivers. I guess the drivers installed are not good enough to get the best out of the hardware.

Using the phone it's another story, the headphones sound excellent, definitely better than any headphone I have heard in this very cheap price range.

Way better than this deal, it's not even close. Anyone buying this Senheisser should just go ahead and cancel the order and get this instead. It's one thing if you went to spend 200 bucks more for a good Sony or Bose etc. But you can spend 20 bucks more and get this.

THIS headphone is a bargain. I think it is underpriced, probably undermarketed. I feel like Samsung are selling the headphone at a loss. It's a $300 headphone minimum. I paid roughly half that. I might value it at $350 to be honest.
