    received today, it is 1900mAh battery, the very very basic V7 one (not 2100mAh advanced), considering price, not too bad.

    apparently, Big W is working with Dyson have all stock cleared, good hunger marketing strategy.

    all tools are not compatible with my long serving Bigball.

      Are you sure they're trying to clear stock? The v7 is still on their website for about $500 lol. You'd think they'd also make $250 the normal price now!

        it is different V7, the SKU item number here is 271629-01 (the very basic v7, even battery capacity is smaller), which is no longer exist in its official website.

        Dyson is very good at Generational Sales, its dazzled model number and name make you feel fancy and different, it just has slight different configuration.

        Otherwise how they can push you pay its price.

      Mine just got delivered today. On my unit on the battery it reads 21.6v, 2100mAh, 46W.

          Yeah that's not good. Was yours delivered from a Big W store or from one of their warehouses? Maybe yours was old stock? Mine came from Hoxton Park warehouse. Checked the re-order nimber on my box it reads the same as yours: 271629-01.

                          @bashar20: The support I spoke to wouldn't let me speak directly to the manager, the manager told support all v7s have the same battery and I couldn't prove it over the phone.

                          I will be taking writing to dyson directly with proof in an email and see what they say.

                          If someone can send me a pic of their 2100mah battery with showing the serial of the unit that would be a great help as I can't prove it's a v7 origin without the serial which they can check is also a v7 origin

    Why is there so much chatter about the battery? It’s only a 10% difference in capacity and they can be replaced.

    Did anyone successfully complain and get a 2100mAh?

    I finally got back an email from eBay about the postage cost and it's not helpful

    I wasn't going to bother but I got jibbed with the model so my next step would be to complain to the seller directly about postage

    I have escalated your concern and received an update recently. Please allow me to share that the seller of this item has revised his listing and added postage cost at 12:06:01 AEST on 28thth August, hence you got charged with postage of $7.90

    Since the item was eligible for eBay plus deals and multiple buyers were purchasing it, the seller do not want to face loss by offering free postage and hence he revised his listing and added postage cost to his listing.

    I can assure you that there is no ongoing technical issue on eBay and you have been charged with postage only because the seller added postage cost by revising the listing .

    I have checked other orders made using my internal tools as well and before revision, no postage was charged and after revision all the buyers were charged with postage and hence I can confirm that this is not an issue from eBay's end.
