How's this compared to the withings body+?

I'm after an wifi model as Bluetooth connectivity is lame.

    • I have withings body + and so far can't fault it always keeps its connection. Better then the Fitbit aria was.

Am interested to know of this would be an upgrade or not

Gonna be honest, I am having issues with it doing anything remotely smart.

It reads the weight and bmi fine but it just refuses to read your body composition analysis, I've taken 1 back and got it replaced but the 2nd scale is doing the same as the first so I'm unsure if they're all faulty or it's just user error.

I've followed Eufy's FAQ on fixing it but the scale doesn't want to cooperate.

      • Try opening the app while standing on the scale. If it works right you should see it measure weight first, then body fat % a few seconds later. Also, did you set up an account? I believe if it detects you as a guest, it may not measure body fat %.

        • That's pretty pointless having the phone on you to use it. The withings shows it all on the display and sents thru to your withing and google fit account

    • Yeah i have always wondered how these scales are able to measure your fat.

  • The C1 was on sale at Amazon a couple of weeks ago ($36 from memory), has been working a treat. I don't know how it works but it measures differences in muscle mass of my identical twin boys, one is subtly more muscly than the other.

  • what I've found with the P1 is that if you have two people with the similar body weight (but different body fat %), then the scale will always accurately weigh first, but then show the wrong body fat %. It's something with the algorithm… The way to fix this is to turn on your app before you step on the scale, so that the scale knows who you are. Which then kind of defeats the purpose of a wi-fi scale.

Terrible scale. I got one just before covid, and it keeps saying I'm heavier now than I was then.
