    What's the RRP of this? If this isn't lower than RRP then its not a deal.

    Is it possible for Rings of Power to go out of stock like a PS5? If not then its not a deal.

    In conclusion, what's the difference between this and a 1 day ozbargain account that makes a spam post with RRP products?

    The actual deal would be if there is an Amazon Prime subscription promo.

      Why do I need to provide a justification for downvoting this deal when other people don't need to provide a justification for downvoting my post? Not fair.

      Some more justifications for down voting this deal:

      1) There's no need to promote or advertise this show on Ozbargain because the entire mainstream media is shilling for it. If this was a quality underrated indie show, it's still not a deal but at least it's more understandable for spamming on ozbargain.

      2) In the forums we had a vote and it was 2:1 that subscription movies were not deals.

      Of course ozbargain authorities went against public opinion but that's another story.

      3) "nobody has seen this show yet, give it a chance: How many chances are consumers going to give to out of touch corporations? Star Wars, Ghostbusters, The Terminator, Cowboy Bebop, Resident Evil etc. All evidence points to this show being raped to cancellation/franchise death and based on prior precedence, it most likely will be.

      4) Downvoting this deal requires a bit more effort than upvoting it so on an equal playing field, we would see more downvotes than there currently are.

      5) you should do opt-out in the settings: For some people it doesn't work and it still shows up on highlighted deals. If you're not logged in, then it still shows up. Also I could turn this argument back into you: you should do opt-in in the settings

      6) Why stop at LOTR? If LOTR is a deal, then you might as well spampost on Ozbargain each and every time a movie, good or bad, gets added to the library. If I had a bot, I'd do it and get sweet internet ozbargain points. And everyone would hate me.

    I dont really understand why people downvote these kinds of posts. Personally I find it useful for ozbargain to keep me up to date with this kind of thing.

    Downvote posts that are likely to cause someone to go and blow money on something, for sure. But that is exceptionally unlikely in this case

      I think there should be a separate section for these sort of thing. Like in 'pages' in the top bar.
      Or just an announcements section or calendar section, separate from bargain posts and forums.

      Like you just check the calendar, and updates to subscriptions will be on the appropriate date, and you can choose to be reminded about that.
      Idk if that's too much work for the back end development team or not.

    Seems it is ok to post new games that are added to Prime (or any subscription service) as deals but TV series or movies are off limits.

      With movies, I’m not 100% onboard but you could argue that they’re able to be purchased elsewhere or could skip watching it in cinemas. The latter isn’t exactly apples to apples comparison but for some they don’t care
      AFAIK this is exclusively on Prime forever. It doesn’t seem like you’re saving any money and just feels like an ad

      Did you watch the fight between the elves and the ice troll? The elves just stand there and let themselves be picked up and thrown or smashed into the wall. Then Galadriel spins around the troll like an anime ninja and defeats it effortlessly in 5 seconds.     The first two episodes, weren't terrible just weren't entertaining or fun. Wokeness aside.

    Unlike first two episodes of HotD. Entertaining.
