      Looks like the app I use for sunset lamps. The app is called iStrip+.
      There's even a alarm to turn on/off.

  So they thought a good way to control your car lights is by using your phone…

  I guess they didn’t do a safety analysis.

  The app should have functionality to detect motion (eg. by gps) so as to disable control while driving (assuming the operator is the driver).

  Would also have been muuuuuuch easier to use a switch.

    The app (iStrip+) I use does ask you to turn on gps location in phone. But I can't see any options to turn on/off lights due to location. Probably just a Chinese tracker function.
