Was searching for a motorbike charger to add onto the bike with my Quadlock and found this seems to have some good ratings, also has a bonus battery indicator.
While it's not the kit which includes the SAE Terminals with Fuse, it is $35-$45 bucks cheaper.

Rather than spend the extra on the kit, I simply picked up a SAE cable with inline fuse from Jaycar for $12.00 (link below):

In no rush, so happy with a week or so for shipping at this price!

Hope it helps others out also.

  • Thanks for posting.

I bought the quad lock charger earlier this year and am still to install it.

I suppose this can't be used in the wet/while it's raining.

    • Did you buy the quadlock kit (wireless charger and battery cable), or just the wireless charger section?
This is meant to be a sealed unit, so no issues with the weather/wet conditions.

      Specs here: https://optimate1.com/usbo-108/

    Aliexpress kits are even cheaper.

      Go for it….

    • Had looked at those, and… for me… yeah!… NAR…. thanks…

  • Bought one from amx last week on sale I believe it was the Oxford 900 did the job for about $70

Wow this seems outrageously expensive for what it is.
It's a USB charger that you can hardwire into your bike?

I got one that mounts on to the handle bars for a few dollars. I tapped into the accessories so it won't drain the battery dead.

    • Yes but no.
It also doubles as a battery tester indicator (sure, $11 from Jaycar as well, or a multimeter, but saves the drama).
      Its also waterproof.
It is also auto sensing, and… a few other things, but compared to other 'branded' units in the market and pricing on this particular unit, current offer is cheap.

Take it or leave it. But I'm happier paying a bit extra for something thats got some smarts behind it when its on sale and taking the peace of mind there is less chance of it causing issues, or failing any time soon, or worse, when out in the middle of bumf…..ville on a ride and something goes wrong with either the electronics on the bike, or the charger and my phone is dead.

Just saying… and now, i'm off to Dan Murphy's to pick up this evenings stock of Grey Goose… (yep… thats me)…

      • What're you riding?

Ironically, I was tempted to go for genuine KTM usb charger for my 790, but decided to keep looking for a little bit, when this popped up

        • Ha, I'm on a Yammy MT.
Was looking at a genuine Yamaha unit, then through - why? i have a Quadlock.
Went to get one of their cable and connectors and settled on this instead. Better bang for buck and features.
I have ordered a Quadlock wireless ring though which will be powered from this unit.

its an interesting product and I think I'm going to buy it for the engine run sense function but some of the wank description really puts me off:
I mean what does " The charging current adjusts to the connected device for safe charging." mean?

And does anyone know if the voltage range for the charge indicator lights is described in the manual?

        • ha ha - someone needs to add some marketing spew and guff…

I've spoken with a few people and they are running these in the same manner i've just thought of.
SAE from the battery, SAE connector in an accessible area (in case of charging battery required during storage months), then into this unit (good with indicator - but yes, use a multimeter also or battery tester, which I have but like this idea), and connect into USB charger. Some use a cig lighter outlet, others use a UBS port. I'll be feeding a Quadlock wireless ring.

Take it or leave it - for the money, Amazon got my CC details! :)

    • Not the same device 51ng4.

The quick disconnect is just the socket section, you still need a number of other bits to get that going. If you already have them, sure… that will do the job too, but its not quiet the same. :)

    • On that line I have this https://www.hurtlegear.com.au/optimate-2400ma-usb-charger-3-…

      And for $40~

Works a treat and I got a water resistant USB-C cable that I ran under my tank on the CBR.

I personally like the battery monitor too, as my CBR's battery is quiet low capacity!
