Not bad at all. I'll offer to shout my friends a round of aperols and get seperate receipts. Claim the refund for each with seperate phone numbers (thanks amaysim), and I'll seem like a great guy 😉

      This is the OzBargain spirit.

I just went thru separate Kogan and boost numbers to get free burritos from GyG and JB hi-fi Perks vouchers.

Might add this to the list.

I redeemed my first free GYG burrito the other day, but got another 8 or so accounts to make 😂

        • +1

My man, that's the spirit ☺️

It's linked to mobile number though so be wary of that. I'm up to my fifth though in about three months with different mob numbers

          Cheep cheep cheep!

@adrianhughes1998: Have heaps of esims with a free trial from Gomo too! Can't get much cheaper than $0 😂

@nicholasv: Aww crap I don't have a phone with eSIM. Did the $0 Boost or 1 cent or 1 dollar Kogan SIMs.

Mad props to you though for that Gomo stuff, we are killing it!

is this strangely worded? refund feels to me that there's like a product recall due to issue?
or is this an attempt to avoid using "100% cashback up to $20" ?

    • Its just the OP. They say cashback in the link.
      T&C here
      https://www.aperolspritz.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/S…

      • It also refers to 'refund' in the T&Cs:

The Promoter will refund 100% of the purchase price for each valid claim…

      refund

NOUN: a repayment of a sum of money

      • oh look, you are trying to teach me a word definition! The very word that I pointed out about your ambiguous sentence which failed to convey the apt meaning behind what you are trying to communicate.

Looking at your various replies in the entire comment thread, if you had spent more time and effort wording your post, you would've saved the time poorly clarifying.

but go on, show me how good you are at looking up dictionaries.

I thought this was for one of those pre-mix alcopops.
OP should say it is for a spritz in a bar/restaurant, or is that obvious to everyone else? ;-)

    • Thank you - I didn't know this!

    • I thought the same

    • Also available in pubs and clubs

… at their bar or restaurant. How is that not redundant?

        • I'm just relaying what is in the T&Cs.

  • Good way to show increase in sales for their investors. You had me at Aperol Negroni

    1st cousin is immediate family?
Imagine they will save a motza with these exclusions….

Entries are only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate
families) of the Promoter, its related entities and any agencies associated with this Promotion are
ineligible to enter. Immediate family member means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto
spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step￾grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

    • It is what it is.
If you don't qualify, you technically can't participate.

I'm not sure how they will identify their employees' uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.

    • That's pretty intense.

  • The myy app certainly gets some stellar ratings! I think I'll hard pass on this one.

  • Myy app crashes when you try to upload existing photo instead of allowing camera access.

They rejected my claim, didn’t say why, and now the offer’s disappeared from my app so I can’t even resubmit it. I can’t view anything about it and I only know it didn’t work because I got an iOS notification that went away once I opened the app. Terrible stuff all round.

Update: I emailed their support and they approved my claim - apparently it was rejected because the venue didn't call it an Aperol Spritz on the receipt.

      • Which email did you use?
There's issue when adding card to applepay. I emailed info@myyapp twice but no reply

  • Any way to get the card number they give you after approving? Or can you only use it via Apple Pay?
