2 months later? I'd say that it's a new bargain but yah, same price

      • Just trying to help, per Make it so, price has been like this since several weeks ago. Then again, to each his/her own.

  • It has been this price for a while now. At least several weeks.

  • Anyone used one of the Surge Protectors before?

I prefer the GoFlex can be down to that price~ sigh~ wait… Thx for sharing:)

  • The 2tb version of these (also USB 3) were $149 a couple of months ago when I bought mine. Not on the website anymore

    • Portable too?

      • Yep and USB powered

        • Damn, that was an excellent deal.

        • sif 2.5" portable 2tb for $150….. where was the ozbargain link if it was?

  • I bought it last week. its portable its powered by usb ..

  • is it better or worse than GoFlex? What's the difference?

    • Not sure, as a portable hard drive, I believe no difference but GoFlex looks better in design。 Plus, GoFlex has better expansion function, which means it can be inserted directly into Seagate specifically designed media slot for GoFlex, then ur hard drive may become an entertainment center!

U may find many high-end hard drive products and accessories launched by Seagate in the market are GoFlex series.

    • Go Flex is the high performance model with a 7200rpm hard drive and automatic backup software preinstalled. The Expansion might be 5400rpm or 5900rpm drives.

  • Hey guys this portable HDD is now $99 at Dick Smith Burwood Westfields.
