Decent monitor, decent price. Would recommend if you use your computer for productivity purposes. The refresh rate is 60 Hz.

LG Ultrafine Ergo 32UN88A 4K UHD IPS Monitor 31.5 Inch 3840 x 2160 IPS Display, DCI-P3 95%, HDR10, USB Type-C, Ergonomic Stand, AMD Freesync, White

Similar to the LG 32UN880-B except this one has a white back. As far as I can tell, there are no other major differences between the two models.

This vs the Lenovo from Amazon?

Worth paying extra for the dell G3223Q with 144hz?

    • I don't know what Lenovo you are referring to but the Dell would be a better pick if you're playing video games as it has the higher refresh rate. The LG 32UN88A does come with a monitor arm and speakers.

Have both. If you are not going to play games honestly no difference or I’d say LG has a slight edge on the picture quality - this is purely to my eye. Obviously comparing on the spec sheet is a different thing And I believe they aren’t that different.

If you are going to play games, do you have a 3080 or higher equivalent? Because otherwise again you can not get frame rates as high for a lot of games (maybe apart from CA:GO or sth.) or if you are going to keep the monitor for many more years 2-3 gens of graphics card after you’ll get those frame rates to take advantage of the monitors 144hz.

Ergo stand is also really good but $60 on Amazon gets a very decent gas strut one too.

Let me know if you want to know anything else.

Not all monitors are for gaming, this looks like a productivity monitor with high res + colour accuracy

      • +1

95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut isn't that crazy. Max peak brightness is also 350 nits with no local dimming zones so you can cross out any sort of HDR too (regardless of the marketing). Very average contrast ratio.

    • Agreed, but this has an ergonomic stand

This is good for creatives who don't care for refresh rates above 60hz but value colour accuracy, resolution, the ability to twist to portrait orientation etc.

      It's not a great monitor, I wouldn't buy it, but it's decent for $700.

    • Where have you ever seen a 4K 32’’ 240hz let alone for $700? (There isn’t even a wide spread standard or cable to even carry the signal at 240hz let alone display it lol)

Or do you think everyone in the world only uses monitors to play games?

Also for the record I have both this and Dell 3223q.
Picture quality wise I’d honestly say LG has the edge tho it’s not a huge difference.

  • Is this good for doing things on
