It should apply to Aldi too.
I'd like to think it applies to ALDI, otherwise I have no idea how they would be categorised!!
I omitted ALDI from my list, because I didn't see it in the Hiver forum post.

yeah, I just paid most of my quarterly electricity bill a month early to take advantage of the last of the 5% cashback….I tried to ask them through FB if this includes things that are pending as of 5pm 7/9, but they just sent back the rote answer on the email. I paid it yesterday, so hopefully it shows as cleared by tomorrow. At least I still have HSBC for the 2% and the fall back of 1% cashback on electricity and water through ING (although 1% is not that great, better than nothing, until they take that off us too)

I’ve made use of a few Commbank Rewards, when they have (infrequently) been relevant to me. $35 in the past year which is better than nothing.
I transfer money in to my cba account when I want to use it, as my usual banking is done elsewhere

I got this one. Points don't change my spending pattern as I get 2% from HSBC right there and then. Not in the distant future when it's accumulated enough to be worth redeeming.
