For those of you who were ineligible for the previous Deliveroo Plus deals, try bypassing Mastercard and go straight to Deliveroo!

(Note: You cannot and will not bypass verification by MasterCard. After you created an account with Deliveroo and accepted the free Deliveroo Plus offer, you will be redirected to MasterCard (at the same URL as brandog's deal) to verify your card number and its eligibility.)

Full credit to brandogs and jaybarrggs for their deals. I simply felt this was the best way to promote this workaround.

                @prisonmike: Remember to add the single use virtual card (online shopping) one, not the multi use card as that is visa

                The link in the email has a unique code and slightly different than the one in this deal

                Besides, your Revolut should immediately having a new transaction entry called Master Benefit

                  @littlesoldier: I ended up creating a new Deliveroo account, then added the virtual card from Revolut and then clicked the link in this post. The link then took me to the Mastercard website to check the eligibility and then shaabam…. I was eligible. It worked and got 12 months free Deliveroo Plus. Thanks @littlesoldier

    Yeah worked for my Coles Plat MC - 12 months - we have no Deliveroo here but I do travel a bit - going to Brisbane next week, GC in October and Melb in December so can get some use from it then.

    I didn't qualify for my citibank premier mastercard, but my citibank debit card did.
    I ended up using the option for check validity. I then added my card to my account but the link on here still didnt work. However I had been emailed a link when my validity check passed, and I used that instead, and that one worked.

    Worked for me 6 months but as others have stated. Lack of drivers means its a 50/50 youll get your food and if you do itll be 2 hours late and cold as ice

      The restaurants near me seem to have figured it out and don't start cooking until a rider gets assigned. Which generally means they don't start cooking, unless it's 2 hours after you order when someone finally starts heading to them.

    Just be careful - At the end of the free period you automatically get charged. I bet you're thinking 'that's okay, I'll just cancel the subscription straight away!'

    … But you can't. If you try and cancel the sub, it says your benefits will end at the end of the month cycle. So you'd be throwing away 5-11 months of free sub.

    Might wish to set yourself a reminder so that you don't forget half/a full year from now, to avoid getting slugged for $13 (probably a lot more by then).

    I placed an order today at 3:30 pm and they keep updating the arrival time pushing it further with a message saying no later than 5:33 pm. I take it this is normal with Deliveroo?

      I cancelled mine to make sure I didn't forget and get charged down the line. I was pretty sure that it said I would still get the full 6 month period of free delivery (though could be wrong) - I don't think I would have cancelled early without seeing it..

      Tried asking on Deliveroo chat and they've said the trial is over since I cancelled.

      Anyone know (or maybe have a screenshot of the cancel page saying it will still be valid) what the actual go is?
