      Area dependent. Atrocious in my area of Melbourne (near Footscray) - no riders, accept orders and never deliver

      In my experience, UberEATS by far the best, Deliveroo by far the worst, DoorDash and Menulog somewhere in between.

      Their support is just atrocious, they pretend to pass you on to their escalations team, who then just don’t respond no matter how many times you follow up. They can only be contacted by email, normal support people can’t even access escalated cases, it’s clearly by design so that people give up out of frustration without any resolution.

      I got that same error when I entered just first and last name as cardholder. I checked what was printed on my card and tried again including my title and middle initial (i.e. Mr Hargain J Bunter) and it worked for me.

    PSA: Cancelling Plus now kills your membership after a month, so set a reminder to cancel it on 7 August 2023 (or 11 months after you activate) so membership will end on the 12 month anniversary and you won’t get charged.

    set a reminder to cancel plus after 11 months because you can't cancel early and retain the benefit for more than 1 month

    28 Degrees for example gives you 6 months (even though it's a 'platinum' card…)

    Edit: No additional benefit - I got 12 months on my first card, and 6 months on a second card. Adding second card, the membership remained at 12 months.

    Comm bank debit card eligible for 12 months but when it gets to Deliveroo and asks for a phone number to get verification code it says 'we couldn't register this number right now - it's registered on too many devices'. Anyone know how I can get around this, I've only got 1 number….

              @alexshel: I finally got it. Activated a $2 sim to get a new number, entered that then once accepted changed number back and cancelled sim.
