    Only $4.99 more on Amazon…

No doubt easier returns if needed

We work really hard to make our return process the easiest out there. We are contactable 24/7 and you will speak to a real person right off the bat. Hope that helps.

After the bullying behaviour by the rep on the last post there is no way I would be buying from this store.
Apparently I don't belong here & offer no value to the community.

Also I received a lovely PM because of this comment I made -

We are of the view that you are attempting to discredit and defame our brand and company. You have made unsubstantiated derogatory claims regarding our integrity in relation to our warranty policy in a public forum. We consider this a serious matter and will seek professional advice regarding your comments.

        Ouch.

I’m guessing the professional advice was “this is clearly an opinion”

      • +6

That thread was wild. Issue with THE obnoxious, condescending, hostile, holier than thou seller.

        • +13

I think you underestimate this community and the disdain for reps trying to take our community for a ride in all honesty.
Your posts as a representative are unbecoming and doing serious damage to the perception of your company unfortunately.

@MorriJ: Thanks for your wonderful, positive feedback Morri ;)

@collonline: Mate, learn to read the room.

@collonline: You aren't giving me much to work with. I'd be happy as anyone else to put someone in their place - WatchNerd included; but (s)he has been rather cordial with you in my opinion in this instance.

As a point of reference; I was probably your perfect candidate to sell this item to, unfortunately on reading your commentary and having a look at a few of your posts, I've realised perhaps getting the 536-xj from Amazon for an additional $4.99 was a safer option, so they got my ~$90.

I hope you take these posts as a learning experience, take the time to consider your approach to being a store representative and perhaps invest some effort in building your company reputation here and offer the community some stellar deals in the future … or not - choice is yours.

@collonline: This post will now cause you to finally get a performance based store ban for 30 days

I'd highly suggest you revisit that attitude when/if you come back to post again, and maybe do something to right the wrongs that have been shown, or let someone else write your comments for you.

Neg for your attitude shown here and previously.

        • +6

Not doing yourself any favours. If WatchNerd really did make 'unsubstantiated derogatory claims regarding our integrity in relation to our warranty policy in a public forum', and if you really do intend to 'seek professional advice', why would you bother mentioning this to the offender in said public forum? Just file the law suit so we can read the findings of the court.

  • I really want the WM425 but they don't sell it in AU.

    • amazons got it, if you can afford the international shipping fees.

      • And I thought Amazon was already a bargain :)

    • Came to ask why you prefer the 425….checked the link below, the vertical vice seems to be handy. Why do you want it?

The model numbers are annoying if anyone can explain the differences to me.

My neighbour just placed a 536-XE type 9 curbside, have been eyeing a foldable workbench similiar to this for ages….so yoink!!! Need some of the dog clamps and some replacement clips for the legs. Bit of dusting and she'll be sweet to hang on the wall doing sweet FA.

From the youtube videos I have watched, the 425 is the more flexible workbench allowing you do more on this table compared to others.

    Award winning customer service

Just out of interest, what award did you win for your customer service?

    • +3

May be they won the "flick it" award?

I'm giving the geezer the benefit of the doubt on a reasonable product. Too much hate on the space lately.

Negging based on issue with seller from previous threads

  • +3

Damn Coll, back at it again with the brand damage…

OP needs to reconsider their marketing strategy. If you have nothing constructive to say or can’t say it in a way that doesn’t sound condescending, then maybe just stick to saying nothing at all…

Negging because issue with the store management threatening to seek legal action against a user for an opinion.

  • It's a good unit, but gee with the seller so hostile, not sure I would spend the cash here and instead go to Amazon…

  • +2

Litigious much? Pretty sad day when a rep decides to sue a potential customer for comments they didn't like. Negged on principle.

  • +2

Seller acting unprofessionally on a public forum. I'd hate to see their behaviour if it came to having to process a warranty return. No thanks.

  • +1

Really poor rep behaviour, the only way you will learn to treat this space & the users, with respect, is to be reminded that you must obey the rules & post deals, not spam. Threatening legal action like others have tried, only undermines your position. Go away, consider your behaviour and strive to do better.

  • Lol how not to OZB
