      I had to click that one. I was wondering how heavy a ceramic coat would be (looking for a new winter coat ATM in the sales). Thought there might be some new technology using spun ceramic fibre perhaps.

    Heaps of dodgy business happening.
    Especially with 247deals and KG Electronics (same business).

    Instead of Price Jacking, they did shipping jacking. Items which used to be free shipping has now been changed to paid shipping and the cost of the shipping is the same as the discount.

    Looking at a few of their fridges for awhile and they definitely was Free Shipping, but changed over the weekend and shipping was jacked up instead.

      yeah its all artificial discounting by shuffling prices around to make it appear you get some sort of discount when you are not. ACCC won't give a damn neither

      For this reason i gave up on eBay

      Also Plus subscription is a scam. Extra 2% is not worth your time.

    Hi all, I'm buying 3 items from a seller in this sale. 1 larger (Double DIN head unit) worth over $300 which has free postage, and 2 smaller (wiring connectors) items <$15 each where a $5.95 postage fee applies.

    I see you can request a total from the seller, I assume their response might be that they would send a new invoice with the postage for the 2 smaller items removed.

    Upon reciept of that invoice, am I still able to use the 22% code when making payment?

    TLDR - Can I use this ebay code for an order where i've requested a total (to reduce shipping costs).

    If you need car stuff, even if it’s been price jacked, still much cheaper to buy from Sparesbox eBay then it is at Supercheap, Autobarn etc, even without the code usually.. Just purchased quite a bit and saved a decent amount with the 22% discount.

    I get so sick of these FAKE eBay sales. I've had my eye on Insta360 cameras & the Lego McLaren F1, both of which suddenly jump up in price by roughly the same as the discount, during the sale. …and yes its the same sellers.
    I find that I'm starting to avoid eBay like the plague

    I expected to see this deal but doesnt even show up. Nothing from that store does even tho it is eligible.

        Good to know, but it still makes this "sale" shady af since you could be saving money or losing money going from seller to seller. I checked 2 sellers that I've bought from and both had jacked by 30% :/

          A blanket statement like what you've said can cause sellers that didn't jack their price to lose sale, and can result in less deals posted here since people will think it isn't an actual deal when it is.

                  You will always save or lose money between different sellers on eBay - because all sellers choose different prices. That's how eBay works… this sale isn't anything different.
