  I'd rather pay a bit more for fully synthetic, who knows it might be 1% synthetic 99% mineral, can still claim semi.

    This oil is for old engines that burn thinner oil. I've seen it stop blue smoke from a worn SR20DE.

      Would this work in an older Subaru Forester? I have the 2011 model and I've noticed the engine oil seems to burn through rather quickly.

        The EJs are usually piston ring related, but no harm in trying aye. SR20 I mentioned above IIRC had issues with valve seals (as in, it was thrashed/worn). So a thicker oil might do the trick (for a while anyway).
