Yeah not a great price.
It may be a deal to some who have already ordered it for RRP :).

Its cheaper compared to RRP and what others are selling.
Some people might be after this version and be happy with even some kind of a discount.
I get it if you are collecting the variants of switch but for those just looking to game on it. It don't represent great value at all. Just my opinion however. So your argument is just as valid.

I wouldnt buy it either at this price but some people might want it now so it's a deal for them.
But from experience usually more of these deals will keep dropping in price. But at this stage its a deal until a better one comes along.

Sure it's still a deal but you even said it's not a great deal and yet you think it's not worth someone commenting that they think it's not worth it? Bit odd.
They also made a valid point that this is considerably more than another special edition Switch OLED and the base Switch OLED. I don't think anyone is saying the deal shouldn't be posted, just that we think it's not great value for what it is.

I am waiting for Zelda 2 next year, no matter it's a limited oled mode or even a next gen model. Sure it's time to upgrade.

game freak really needs to get onto a two-yearly release cycle. i know it will never happen because of CASH EMOJI, but the unfinishedness, unrefinement is insane in these new titles
Agreed. If they took a note out of Zelda's book, they could make the best pokemon game ever. Instead they put out games with such dated visuals, still no voice acting, and glitches galore. Pokemon just sells…no matter how unfinished a game is (sadly).

The design on this is gorgeous. I would buy it because it stands out in my living room and impress my gf.
Now thinking of getting one to impress the gf but the wife might have something to say about that. Oh wait…..

I said the same for the Splatoon one but that is $445 so people seemed alright with buying the game separately. With this Pokemon one however it's over $500 and doesn't include the game still..
Still doesn't make much sense to me, selling a special edition console like this but not including the game it is themed on. Should just include a physical copy of the game. I guess I haven't really bought a special edition console like this but I thought they used to always include the game for older consoles.
They'll do deals once it's released. I like the switch, but not the dock. I grabbed the Splatoon one. Got it down to about $400 (price match at JB, $10 perks voucher, 10% off TCN in most states or Vanilla Visa in Vic/Tas at Coles), which isn't far off what I paid for the original. I'll sell the original.
