      And may I ask the reason for this is? We've purchased direct from BOSE NY. Yes BOSE NY, not an unknown middleman, distributor or what have you.

      Did we have an incident with Monsters? Yes, and we rectified that. Are Monsters = Bose? No.

        The incident was quite unfortunate. That said, it only makes me more confident with a retailer like Dealfox, that when she hits the fan, the system works for the consumer.

        I purchased the AE2i from DF back in April for the misus bday. She loves em.

        Well Jason, I have nothing against dealfox. I am just expressing my thoughts as a consumer

        In reply to what you said, Bose US is selling AE2i for $164 unless you got someone to get a few boxes out directly from the factory and ship you for free.

        As a consumer if I can spend $150 on headphones, I am sure I won't mind spending an extra $50 and have complete piece of mind on quality/warranty.

          I more then encourage consumers posting there thoughts as long as there is some substance or rational behind it.

    i am not buying $100+ earphone which can be manufactured for less than $10 off the company that had (known / not known) sold fake goods. The risk is too high and as Billa911 said, with another $50 you can get a guaranteed genuine by buying of Bose. Or better, go to myer for price match if they sell it.

      What a stupid point of view.

      Dealfox got burned far more than you did. Not only did they receive fake stock too, but their reputation faltered temporarily as a result. They handled it well, and improved as a business.

      If people could go back in time and reverse mistakes they made earlier in their lives, then chances are you wouldnt exist to post on this thread. Be thankful we learn from our mistakes and we don't erase them.

      Don't tell him. If he doesn't realise they are fake, nothing is wrong in his world hence nothing needs to be fixed. In other words… if your mate payed a couple of hundred dollars for a pair of fake headphones and thinks they are top notch… just let him be ignorant and happy.

    I can say I have had only positive experiences from Deal Fox. I recently bought a pair of Bolle's from them (yes, they were genuine), they were damaged on arrival. I called their help desk, spoke to Michelle who was very pleasant and helpful. She arranged return postage at their cost and a refund to my Paypal account. Only a reputable company would go to these lengths to please the customer, well done Deal Fox.

    Everyone needs to get over the Monster fiasco, which Deal Fox would have rectified at their considerable cost. Jason, keep up the good work!
