RAC members also can get 50% off

    • is the discount only for membership holder or for his/her family?

For member. But you get to nominate 2 vehicles. I forgot about RAC offer!

        • gotcha, so for whoever in the two nominated vehicles

@Jeff1001: Might be worth a quick squiz through the T&C, wouldn't be surprised if the member has to be in the vehicle (and to clarify, it's one vehicle at a time).

@Jeff1001: You can sign up to the RAC kids club for free and use that membership number.

        • Suppose to be only the same address

  • Thanks for that, was just looking last night at getting a pass so great timing.

Only applies to the annual pass - just tried to apply to a holiday pass and got the message "EKIAP-50 discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart"

Note to any non-WA tourists who want to use this: just use the EKIAP-50 code, and buy an annual pass for $60 which is the same price as a one month holiday pass. Put in HIRE VEHICLE in the rego and your start date, and you're good to go for as long as you want, up to a year.

It would have been great to get the price of the one month Holiday Pass down from $60 to $30, but no luck. I'll take the upgrade of one month to one year - even though I can't use it, I'll give it to friends who live in WA to use.

    • Hi friend :P

      • Uggh, that's like WhatsApp spam, lucky you don't have an avatar :)

Cheers, I've added "some" to the title. I got the same code, and just realised it's "Every Kid In A Park" EKIAP. I suspect you'd be able to just add EKIAP-50 coupon at checkout for eligible pass.

      • Nice work! You'll be off those L plates in no time. Yep, you can key the code into the main website and get the same discount.

The app actually says "The discount is applicable to all types of park passes" but it is under a heading of "Annual Park Pass" so the app is a little misleading.

  • Is it for privately owned parks? Or we need to pay for visiting public properties?

    • I don't know on "ownership". My guess would be the titles are in the names of a few different bodies. Here's the WA parks: https://exploreparks.dbca.wa.gov.au/explore-wa-parks

      The passes

"cover the cost of entry into parks that require an entry fee, for vehicles up to 12 legally seated people. Separate fees apply for camping and for various attractions such as the Avon Descent; Calgardup, Giants or Cabaret caves; Dryandra Woodland; Araluen Botanic Park; Geikie Gorge boat trip; Monkey Mia Conservation Park; Penguin Island Discovery Centre; Perth Observatory and the tree Top Walk."

    • These are DBCA Parks Passes, which is the government agency responsible for managing national parks and reserves. I'm not 100% sure if this 'every kid in a park' thing might include some passes to private parks too, but it looks like it's a DBCA promotion so it will be national parks. It is normal to pay for entry to many national parks in WA, not sure about other states.
