Not many reviews online. A few decent ones, one not so good. I have yet to actually test mine. A pressure washer is likely better for cleaning things like pavers, but an actual scrubber is useful for some surfaces.

If you need an extra 4Ah battery, then compared to the intermittently available $48 black batteries, an extra $42 for the brush unit and a charger is pretty good.

For those just after batteries, the current $20 2Ah or 2x 4Ah for $99 is an excellent deal if you can find stock left anywhere.

    I/N0296583 of ozito website

  • Checked a couple of stores on Powerpass, price is $155 at Northmead and Rydalmere, only Seven Hills has it at $90.

    • +1

Seven Hills bunnings always has good clearance items

      • I agree, wouldn't say much at Rydalmere NSW

      • Good to know, I will visit more often.

This or pressure Washer for cleaning merbau deck? Thanks

    • +1

Probably better off with 1500 psi max pressure washer.

Shouldn't etch the deck and if needed light soap + soft brush (or broom) should clear up heavier dirt.

Most of these powerbroom have essentially whipper snipper bristles, and can leave scratches on wood/vinyl/metal (alu).

      • Thanks for the advice. Appreciate it

In stock for $90 at cannon hill if anyone is interested in that area

  • Got the last one from seven hills

    • That went fast! There were about 5 or 6 left after I grabbed one this morning.

      • Thanks for posting, really needed this to clean my pavers after the floods.

Grabbed mine from bunnings airport canberra, they were on clearance at $78. None left now though.

The black bristles are very stiff, the green ones for fake grass are much softer. Works well, though quite noisy. They also gave a water hose tap attachment. You can get a metal brush as an accessory

The side plates are good, but the wider side one is a sh!t to get off.

    • $80 in Geelong - got it for the fake grass

  • Got mine for $40.01 on clearance. Final one. Worth checking your local.

  • This one or water pressure to clean paving?

    • Definitely a pressure washer.

  • Not sure where this outdoes a pressure washer

    • Certain surfaces such as old or softer wood decking often to do better with a scrub. It effectively lightly sands the wood and compacts the surface fibres down. Pressure washing tends to penetrate and open the surface up.

Some paved or tiles surfaces can have grout or concrete or compacted sand etc in the joins. Pressuring washing can damage that whereas a brush won't.

Another use is removing certain stains and surface debris. I have a tree that drops sap that doesn't really clean of with a pressure washer. But a brush attached to a drill cleans it off, so hopefully this Ozito scrubber with make it easier.

People seem to like them for fake grass because it fluffs it up. You can also use the scrubber in places with no hose or mains power.

But yeah generally a pressure washer will be a lot more useful.

This is a promotional item. Does Bunnings sell the replacement brushes or will it be a landfill once the brushes need to be replace

    • Generally you can order any Ozito parts at the service desk. Even for products not stocked. I have not asked them about these brushes though.

  • Thanks op - picked one up at Rydalmere, marked and scanned at $129 (despite PowerPass apparently indicating $155 mentioned above). Hopefully works well with synthetic turf.

    • +1

It does work quite well on synthetic grass, easier than using a broom..

      • Does this really work well on turf for you guys ? I picked up one and found that it struggles, and stops in between possibly while encountering some resistance. Not sure if its my turf ( is 4 yrs old), or my machine. Was thinking of returning.

  • Yes it Works fine, does not struggle at all. Noisier than what id like.

edit, i think ours is the 35mm turf

I know you would have, but Check what speed you have it on. Make sure it does variably change when you turn the dial, and that it isnt stuck on slow.
