Shokz Openrun Pro Bone Conduction Headphone from 28,060 Qantas Points to $188 + Delivery @ Qantas Store

180

Cheapest I could find for these at the moment. $260 at JB-HIFI for the pro model and $219 for the non-pro model at Amazon.

Great headphones especially for longer rides/runs as I find they don't hurt my ears/head as much as in-ear earphones. Loved mine before I broke them in an accident.

The sound quality and bass are good but you will struggle to hear much when there's a lot of wind.

Unfortunately, you have to deal with Qantas to get this price.

  • Oh thank goodness I didn't buy it the other day. Reckon JB will price match them?

    • I'm not too sure.

Usually it's points+pay for most of the sale items but you can just pay without points for this item so they can't use that argument, i guess.

      Good luck.

      • On hold right now, but suspect as you have to be a member (even though almost anyone can become one for free when they run their regular promo) they won't price match.

        • +2

Well uh… I've just come back from JB Hi-Fi, they did price match them for $188 for me, I used TCN Her for 10% off, and used Vanilla Visa for another 7.3%, so if my maths is correct… I just got these for $156.85. :X

  • Great price. I got the Open runs from JB commercial for about 180 so this is a good price for the pro. However, from memory the differences between the 2 were not that significant for me.

  • +2

Points total was just 26,657 for me. Clicked link and showed up at 28,080. But in Check-out dropped further without any promo or anything. I have silverstatus and basic point club so not sure if there is extra automatic promo that stacks.

  • Should i buy it? lolz.

  • +1

Got this, the pro with extra bass does make a difference. The normal open run just sounds flat without it. Overall good product for its purpose.

  • What does this equate to (ish) in $ value? Is it a terrible use of points or ok if you want em :)

    • +1

Points generally around 1c per point if you sell them in classified (at your own risk, as youre not supposed to). So this would be the same as purchasing at around RRP ($269).

Best value for points is flights and upgrades, but I don't plan to travel any time soon so I chose to use points.

  • Anyone has already received it?

    • I got mine yesterday. Only took 3 days to arrive. I'm in north melbourne.

      • Status of mine is still processing. I ordered on 23/9.

And I have not received anything from Qantas, not even an email for order confirmation.
