    The secret for juicing for weight loss is just eat the fruit, the fiber helps keep you full. Juice is just sugar water.

      • Hmmm JV, how many days have you actually done this? Or are you just arm chair opinioning?

      I'm convinced people know how to lose weight, they just don't care. Counting kcal is boring and they want to stuff themselves with cake. TDEE? BMI? Yawn. Who cares that every 1kg equals 4kgs of force, per knee. You don't need your them to last, thats what knee replacements are for. Xiaomi knees(with NFC).

      And it may take a number of the fruits to make up one cup of juice e.g. could take 4-5 apples to make a cup of juice (I'm taking a guess here but probably not far off)
      But you would most likely not eat 5 apples in one go because, as you mentioned, all that good fiber would be filling you up instead of the sugar of 5 apples.
      Better to just eat the fruit

      • Try it. I have gone 75 days on just juice, works so well. No sugar issues. No need to fibre for healthy bowel movements. Easy weight loss. I drank about 2 1/2 litres of juice a day.

        • Glad it's going well for you but I'm still iffy about it, all the info I've read about juice diets don't rate them very well and to be especially careful if you are doing it long term. Are you including a lot of vegetables in your juicing and taking supplements?

          The general consensus seems to be that they may produce quick weight loss from the reduced calorie intake (which you will generally put back on if you go back to eating normally), but in the long term they are not sustainable, as a juice only diet means you are missing out on important things like protein, fibre, iron and other nutrients such as calcium, vitamin D, vitamin B12, and zinc. There is also raised blood sugar levels from all the sugars which, without the fibre, is more readily absorbed into the bloodstream.

    • You clearly have not read about it or tried it. Juice keeps you feeling full and your energy levels are rock solid after about the first week. Day 3 or 4 is the worst when your body is detoxing the most, after that it gets really good.

  • That title hits different until you realise its several titles.
