Almost all on special TVs can be a deal tonight XD

      • You're posting the good ones so we thank you for your efforts 🙂

        • From spec this is a good TV but I am a bit worry about the QC from TCL and warranty.

          • @superforever: True, but if I had to choose between TCL and Hisense, it would be TCL without a doubt. Hisense failure rate is higher than its competitors.

This or wait for black Friday?

      This because OzB.
      Buy now, remorse later.

I highly doubt this will be much cheaper on black Friday. 2.45k for the 75incha is a rally good deal. I paid 2.4k for my Sony 75 x90j and this is tcl is a better TV.

    • Buy with a CC that has price protection

  • It's on my wish list for livingroom.
So tempted price for 75" but HODL.

I'm with TCL X7 65" model bought 3 years ago. There is no problem till now.
Actually OS is not very good because over 3 years old. So I'm using Amazon FireStick 4k Max now.

  • Planning on getting a TV in April, this actually looks like the best value option that can play PC at 4k@144hx with VRR.

  • We just bought this tv this week and set it up. We love it!
You can get JB Hi Fi to price match it to $2459 Appliance central
    https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/75c835-tcl-75-inch-4k-uh…

Or get rarely to $2399 from Stan Cash until last night
    https://www.stancash.com.au/tcl-75-mini-led-4k-uhd-google-tv…

Stan cash is a local Melbourne company. Many places won’t price match but TGG were generous enough to price match it to $2399 after a bit of back and forth.

The price is on a downward trend but I doubt it will go any lower during the Black Friday.

One thing for sure - you won’t be disappointed with this tv! I always used to get Samsung and LG and I really like the Google TV experience and the ability to install ad free YouTube :D

    • Did you notice any judder/shutter/soap opera effects when watching movies?

Interested in this model but as someone mentioned I am worry about the QC and warranty from TCL. In saying that the first line brands they charge premium but only provide 1 yr warranty in Australia that's kind of rip off…

      • QC might be a worry, but TCL warranty isn't. You shouldn't ever need to deal with TCL. As even JB are legally obligated to state on their extended warranty page: " Even if you do not purchase JB Hi-Fi Extra Care, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) - even after expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty and the JB Hi-Fi Minimum Voluntary Warranty period". Basically if anything goes wrong in any reasonable period, you just hassle JB to sort it, and don't let them palm you off to TCL.

  • Damn. Should have jumped on it. Any good for gaming? I can't seem to find many reviews online but those that are there are positive.

    • Only thing I saw that got a lot of people discussing on the forum was that it only supports 4:4:4 @4K 60hz or below when it is connected to PC, anything above it would only do 4:2:2, however there's one Australian user did say that even with 4:2:2 output he couldn't notice any difference. He's got 55C835 tho maybe the higher pixel density helps.
