  • How do I extend the period if i want to use it for 10 days lets say? Is it cheaper to buy 2 separate esims? Or just buy 1 then extend?

  • It is a 2 part process to add a new data package - add funds to your prepaid balance and choose a data package.
    1. You can add funds online in the app or at a site like MobileTopup.
    2. For available data plans just Google sim2fly addon Data Plans for options. You can also see those plans in myAIS app.

    • your page says to purchase 10 days before the trip but you said on this post that you can just start using before December.

I have a trip in mid november for about 10 days. can i purchase now?

      • Hi, now would be fine, but if you are in AU, don't install it yet unless you want to use in Australia first.

        • another stupid question, would you know if Galaxy S20+ supports multiple esims and can work with this?

          • @meong: Galaxy S20+ looks to be supported, but Samsung makes different model variants for different regions so best to get an answer for your specific device.

            • @esimguy: i definitely have esim support… i was just wondering whether it will work by adding them as 2ndary esims…

i never had multiple esims before…

              • @meong: Ah, like iPhone then you can 1 active eSIM line at a time and multiple inactive eSIMs.

                • @esimguy: iPhone 13 supports 2 eSIM lines active at the same time, have used it

    • +1

Can you advise what the rates are if we were to extend the plan?

  • Cannot buy… "We're sorry, you are not allowed to proceed"

  • 😩 Yikes, making some changes, pls try again in a minute or 2.

  • Can I add more days while I'm in the 5 day period? Or need to wait for it to expire? Going for a 12 day holiday to japan and would like to add the additional days once activated.

Also, can this be used for tethering to another mobile?

    • +1

After the 5 days, you can get any of these add on plans: https://esim2fly.com/frequently-asked-questions/what-are-all…

AIS allows tethering but we have found it to be host network dependent, so may not work on all networks.

      • Do I need to purchase it after the 5 days expires? Or can purchase during the 5 days? (ie. That plan queueing mentioned on that website)

  • dumb question, can i have multiple esim on my galaxy s21?
currently have an local esim active

    • Most likely it allows 1 active eSIM and multiple inactive eSIMs as is the case with Pixels on Android.

  • Can we use multiple of these on the same device and activate one after the other?

    • Yes, but adding them now activates them, so add when you are ready to use.
