  • JB $584.1 gogogo

    • $649, or are you talking about those that availed themselves of the recent 10% gift cards at Woolworths recently?

The above description isn't really specific to the A73…

  • tried to buy this from Telstra website with 2 separate accounts and keep crashing. no idea why.

    Hasn't this been $506? If so, not a deal…

You'll be waiting for a $506 deal and it may never come..

You can't just wait for a deal forever, this isn't a bad price.

However I'd suggest not to buy an A73, Samsung used Chinese OLED panels and I've now returned two that have issues with OLED burn in/splotchy screens. The issue was getting worse with time as well. It's an otherwise awesome phone for the money.

I caved and got the Pixel 6 Pro 256GB at JB Hi Fi last night for $1034

Also ebay sellers can be a pita, I'd pay the little but more to get it from a retailer.

      • Does the A53 have Chiinese oleds ?

        • No idea sorry - look into it :)

  • Any one know if buying outright from Telstra is locked to Telstra network?

OW won't price beat as you need a Telstra account/service to get this price.

    • Phone is not locked to Telstra

Much appreciated. In any case, I will wait for a better price. Seems there have been quite a few for less than $599 recently. Even if it's an ebay promo.

    • Well that's concerning.

    • Samsung phone left in storage for too long getting pregnant on their own.

    • We had a fleet of S5's and lots of their batteries swelled at around the 3 year mark.

  • How would this go replacing a S10+? Thanks

    • Flagship to midrange. Can you downgrade? Why not grab a refurb flagship instead?

I got it for $550 outright when Samsung Aus had a $50 off discount so this isn't that cheap. I've had the phone now for about a month and it's a good phone. No issues really. The camera is fair.. Don't let the 100+ megapixels fool you. The sensor isn't that crash hot but I upgraded from an pretty old phone so it will do.
