Seems like a pretty good price for a reversible ratchet spanner set.

  • 72 tooth ratcheting box end needs a minimal 5° to move fasteners vs. 30° for standard wrenches
  • Flush mounted reversing lever allows you to change direction without removing the wrench
  • Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding
  • 15° offset offers increased clearance
  • Meets or exceeds ASME and ANSI specifications
  • Bright, full polish chrome finish easily wipes clean and resists corrosion
  • Included tray for storage and organisation

Sizing

  • Metric: 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 & 19mm
  • SAE: 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16” & 3/4”

    Turn the SAE into the missing metric sizes and I would consider.

    • I also thought this until i realised that
      11mm = 7/16
      16mm = 5/8
      18mm = ~3/4

      • Still a waste of the rest. And I'd also want 8, 20, 21 and beyond.

      • 3/4 is 19mm

  • Never understood why all these kits have SAE spanners, I dont think I ever used a SAE spanners in my line of work. I had a similar model of these wrenches and found out after using them for a while, the reverse mechanism is loose and constant reverses itself every time you try to torque a bolt

    • Depends what you are into. I run into SAE stuff semi-frequently when dealing with either old or American equipment.

      • yeah, 12mm is close to 1/2” but isn’t 1/2” …. go to bunnings….coach bolts still imperial ….normal bolts are metric …..

    • idea is take up the slack with the ratchet, but torque with the open end as the ratchet pawl is fragile …..warning on the box .
