Join the "Get AWS Certified: Specialty Challenge".

Receive a 50% Exam Voucher to apply when booking your exam with Pearson VUE only.
Speciality Certifications regularly (Before Discount) cost $400 + $40 GST in Australia.

You can Register on the website, using your personal or business email.

The voucher takes at least 14 Business Days to reach your inbox, but it eventually comes, so have patience and wait for it.

Study well while waiting as these are hard exams :).
Security Specialty is the easiest specialty exam followed by the Database Specialty.

      I passed mine architect exam after 3 month of training but i have approx 10 years of azure experience…. so it depends on what exam you choose and experience you have

      If you work with aws for a year or two, then Security might be okay.

      Just a normal preparation as if you are going for Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate.

      If you do not hold anything related to aws, or not working with it, then I suggest you start from the beginning by taking the Cloud Practitioner first.

        From an industry perspective, Cloud Practitioner is one of the most useless certifications. Finished it in 20 min total- including the terms and conditions etc.

        Ideally, don't prepare for it specifically, but prepare for Solutions Architect Associate.
        Remember, having Certs should not be the final objective, but to understand the nuances of architecting enterprise grade, secure solutions.

        There are several discussions on LinkedIn where candidates are complaining that they have invested hundreds of dollars to get certified and are still struggling to get a job.
        Certs are important, esp. Solutions Architect Pro is highly regarded, but should be a means to an end. Use the preparation to improve your skills, by practicing and doing hands on labs and exercises.

        So, please remember, knowledge and experience over just certifications.

        However, if there are two candidates with similar knowledge, I would certainly prefer the person with certs- but while hiring someone, certs is not the only criteria for me, as I understand how some certified people do not have the necessary experience and how to make an architectural decision given a situation.

    Good deal if you haven't already done any other prior AWS exams to get given a 50% coupon for passing. Also note in T&Cs:

    "… and take your exam by March 31, 2023."

    A had a mystery shop company chasing me, years ago, to go sit one of these exams and fail. The pay was awful for the amount of time you had to spend there

          Very expensive, around $1K till $3k , not recommended at all.

          Save this for the more advanced Certs.

          Just go for Exampro.co course for free, or anyother Udemy course, and let the company pay for the test fees.

          You can try Cantrill.io or Digital Cloud Training, these are very professional and both are Aussies ;p

          Then go for onsite training for the next ones.
