Lucky you. At first the store pretended to be closed on the app so I couldn't order from that store at around 11am. Then when my order got through, they cancelled my order.
Are you a regular there or do you only go when there’s free promotions. If not, go and spend a little bit of money there and you will be looked after

My order got cancelled. I guess you could say I got 'roll'd'.
Brisbane CBD just told me they are a franchise and don’t have to honour the deal and also marked their store offline even though they are open. I was going to buy other items too not just there for the free stuff.

Pre-ordered to pick up at Doncaster, when I arrived they had no idea my order was there but they gave me what I ordered for free anyway.
Ordered in app, Amex rejected, paid with visa. Order accepted, all good.

Went to pick up, told order cancelled cos sold out. Asked them to make more, refused.

i believe the stores werent sure about the high influx of free orders and set the store to closed, and re-opened once they confirmed with the Head Office.

Were you able to select a pick up time in the app? I'm trying for that store as well and it doesn't let me do it… Also now that the store is open, they only have one type of soldier, the BBQ one… All the other ones disappeared…
Yes I was. Picked 6 different rolls but were given somewhat random ones.
Managed to order through their website (app still not letting me select a pick up time)
Only bbq soldiers left. Accepted my order and was ready to collect within 10 minutes. Headed there and the lady was happy to hand my order over. Also purchased an iced coffee because I felt bad not buying anything, was quite good. Lunch and dinner of the day sorted!
My order from Harrisdale, WA was rejected.
I clicked re-order and it still showed $0, but then after payment was complete I checked the order again and noticed 1 extra soldier was added (I'm 100% sure I didn't add it myself) Now that my total is $4.70, the order has gone through and says it's completed. I'll pick up at 7:30pm, so am curious to see if they give me 1 or 7 of them.
Calling these as 'soilders' seems somewhat inappropriate, esp as some would relate Vietnamese soilders as 'VC' aka VietCong soldiers.
There's alot of Vietnamese that has a bit of resentment towards the bad memories of the Vietnamese war.All good at Robina

Yea, mine said minimum purchase is $1 - but if you ordered the $4.20 soldiers, and the total is $0 I think it'll work. The items I originally ordered came up to $0.50 total payment because I chose a $4.70 option then it told me payment needs to be min $1. So go for only the $4.20 options and I think you might be fine.

When I went in store I told them my order number and was told to pick 6. I didn’t get the exact ones I’d ordered but still happy with the ones I got (and based on the other comments lucky to get any at all!)
Picked mine at camberwell too. They looked miserable but they honoured the deal so its not like im complaining lol.
Now they cancelled order but charged me??
Put through 5 orders at Mornington. They were swamped & gave me 3. Politely said it's 1 per customer so I'm pretty happy 😊

My order got cancelled. I walked past though and saw that they had insane amounts of rice paper rolls for whats usually a quiet store.

Ordered from Melbourne Central, Level 2 Foodcourt - order was pending on app for the whole time until I got there and they accepted it after checking a stash of "takeaway" orders for my name. (all at $0 - so I have no doubt they did usually accept orders and mine was just missed). Thanks OP!
Tried and retried several times. All rejected at Macquarie. App notification said "rejected due to: D.", whatever that means

Harrisdale store just called me saying they ran out of crab and duck. When I asked for a refund, they said there's no way to process a refund so they'll "check the kitchen again for ingredients" and let me know.
Free meal is great. Personally I'd not want to eat there as the foods were quite bleh.
Macquarie Centre, NSW rejects/ not taking! 👀🥲
Picked up two orders from Macquarie Centre around 1pm, they first cancelled then said chicken an beef only and re-accepted order.
Ordered today at 12.40pm. Arrived at 1.15pm for pickup and was told that the promo was "for yesterday" and that they'll be cancelling the order.
Disappointing.

Some stores are showing as ‘closed’ on the app. Presumably these stores are intentionally not accepting app orders due to this promo?
Very gutsy for them to continue this promo. I asked the store manager why this was free. Was only meant for those who attended footy not the entire public. The rolls were fresh and filling at Fountain Gate.
Worked at Sydney CBD O'Connell St. All other stores in the immediate area shows closed until 10am Wednesday. Ordered an hour before arriving but they never pressed accept order. Got there and they said they are out of barramundi and soft shelled crab, told me to put through a new order on the spot and I did that and they pressed accept and started prepping the food
update: guess they are swamped with orders, with only 2ppl making rolls. Got there at 1.15pm, reordered at 1.20, only finally got my food at 1.55pm. Didn't try to ask if it was being done soon or rush them or anything since it was free after all (well $1 since I got 2 duck)
Ordered again today (public holiday yesterday) at my local Rolld at The Pines shopping centre in Elanora Qld 4221 but it got cancelled (they are well known for being tightasses in that store and not participating in previous promotions so it didn't surprise me)
