@ihfree: Ah I guess if it's written down on the interwebz it must be true

            • @kamelataturd: You say that, yet you exude average Rumble viewer vibes

            • +1

@kamelataturd: Whereas your particular variety of fan fiction is tots legit because the First Council of Nicea got together with a few bottles of red and decided what was canon and what wasn't

So, you know, as legit as Star Wars

              • -1

@GrueHunter: Ah the council of nicea argument. Straight from the playbook for Athiests who like to think they are educated when in fact they have nfi. Yawn. Curious why you are actually here commenting. If you don't want a free Christian calendar, don't get one, keep on scrolling salty boiz

                • @kamelataturd:

who like to think they are educated when in fact they have nfi.

And why are you any different? Have you seen God? Do you view agnostics in the same light?

                  • +2

@Techie4066: Am I on a thread about a free athiest calender trying to win the interwebz against athiests? Its kinda juvenille everytime there is a free Christian item the salty boiz come out with their tears trying to be literary scholars and just look like tryhards running through the same old tired Athiest playbook:
                    1. Thinking Skydaddy insults are edgy
                    2. Thinking mentioning Council of nicea will cause Christians to forsake their beliefs
                    3. Thinking the world would be so much better without religion whilst being oblivious to DPRK, Cambodia, PRC, USSR, Cuba
                    4. Claiming religion causes wars and attempting to shoe horn some sort of religious affiliation to someone who was involved in the war.

If you want to be a good Athiest stfu and practice what you preach. You cry about religions bible bashing you and then get triggered by a Christian calendar that you could have easily scrolled past - but no it was too triggering - how dare Christians have free calendars.

Athiest fan boys are cringe af and sure the circle jerk in your echo chamber may provide you some feelings of self worth. But be real, the yield of your antitheological jihad is no more tangible than your time on pornhub.

              • @GrueHunter: The council of Nicea did not decide the canon of scriptures. Even Atheist and agnostic scholars would say that.

    • Even Richard Dawkins believes in tolerance, he did make the point that if religion were abolished, it might “give people a license to do really bad things.”

Or was he quoted out of context?

Ultimate ozbargain situation: never pay tax because you think you're god's deputy sheriff on earth

    • I think operating under religion to avoid taxes isn't as easy as one thinks. If they see ur earning tons of cash, you will probably be audited. And probably sued if they find u were abusing the system like that

      • +1

Yes it's a perk that's mainly only open to groups who've been doing it for some time

  • Lets see if i got this. I put fake email and phone as well as name.

I still can't believe that there are so many people that believe in these old timey stories an cults in 2022.

Worse is that we allow these businesses to be tax free.

    • +1

They are tax free cause religious organizations are charities. They arent corporations

      • +5

They're disguised as charities, they're clearly businesses and many of them make billions, see trillions.

        • wouldn't say they are making trillions or even billions. Also, charities are allowed to make money so long as it goes back into the business . e.g expansion, more facilities ect

          • +3

@RetroMetro: They have directors that are paid 'wages', they wouldn't make a tenth of those wages in any other job they're capable of holding onto. Their wives take salaries for doing nothing. It's all a rort.

There's this one business who even told the Australian government where it could stick its laws when they asked to send an employee back from his hiding place in Rome for crimes against children.

They make trillions and are probably the most powerful business in the world, they even own a country within a country with its own postal system, railway lines, art collection etc. it's sitting on land worth trillions of euro.

But can't pay taxes nor comply with the laws of the countries it operates in.

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Charities can pay out handsome salaries nothing wrong with that. Most employees who work for charities don't do it free. Also, that whole thing sounds like a conspiracy. And where is this money coming from? How are they earning trillions? They don't operate like apple or amazon

              • @RetroMetro:

Charities can pay out handsome salaries nothing wrong with that.

              • +3

@RetroMetro: There's salaries and there are ridiculous payments made for doing virtually nothing whilst the other 'directors' of these 'charities' such as wives make mind numbing sums for doing literally nothing.

This is done to help reduce profit to zero and avoiding tax.

I've worked for long enough, close enough to these scams to see the scam very clearly.

It's unfair to everyone who is working hard to pay taxes to support these businesses which should stand on their own two feet.
If they don't survive without every taxpayer carrying them, they aren't worthy of existing.

          • @RetroMetro:

wouldn't say they are making trillions or even billions

            OK champ

            • @GrueHunter: Yeah that's their net worth not their profit. These churches been around for two thousand years ofc they would have accumulated a fairly high global worth

  • +1

Do people notice some(a lot now that I think about how many church scenes there are) movies pushing religious messages?

It shows how much money they have aside to spend on getting the brainwashing ideas into movies, it unconscious way to get religion into peoples minds

    • lol

    • Would most of those be the USA version of religion?

  • +3

Uh oh religious post, super sensitive topic. Bring the popcorn

If it happens it was Jeebus

As opposed to an all powerful being who just existed? and who has a hobby of giving kids malaria?

      • -2

Atheist: God does not exist and I hate him. 😁

        • +1

People don't hate Santa, Bananas in Pyjamas, or other fictional characters because they don't exist.

          • @ihfree: I think most people like Santa.

    • So we can definitively prove the big bang, human evolution and all scientific phenomena are attributable to an all-powerful being? Or are people living a lie?
