  • I'm getting the price as being $109?

    • Make sure you select "Bali" in the dropbox at the very top.

edit: oh I see, to fly from Perth to Bali it's $109. That's pretty cheap! I've updated the article.

      • Ok I see, its $109 from Perth to Bali.

But $35 from Bali to Perth.

Must be due to difference in taxes at Depasar?

Anyway, $144 return is still a good deal.

  • get a price beat from jetstar.

you get the best price and dont have to fly with air asia.. :D:D

    • Jetstar, AirAsia, much of a muchness really.

      • the real bonus is that they waive the cc fees too.

        • Oh yer I paid by CC and no fees :)

  • Looking at this you could also do Perth > Bali > Singapore or KL for $221 return.

A great deal, but the 'from' is the kid prices…

Damn you Perth…so close to Asia and always getting these deals. If I lived in Perth I'd spend my weekends in Bali and Singapore, maybe even get adventurous and hit Thailand!

  • I used this deal last year OMG was like a dream :)

Ah its different :( this is $109 to Bali and $35 back to Perth,
the deal I got was $35 both ways.

  • its an amazing deal!! funny how its cheaper to go international than travle local! so much for promoting aus. tourism

    • All thanks to the multiple levels of local taxes imposed by govt.!!

    • This airfare is clearly a loss leader. There is no possible way AA can fly someone 2500km profitably for $35, or $109 for that matter.

The average person in south east Asia earns a lot less than we do. GDP per capita is $3.5k in Indonesia, $9.7k in Malaysia, and $5.4k in Thailand.

It's $65k in Australia. The Australian tourism industry is struggling as we earn so much compared to other nations. Local employees don't want to have their wages sliced by 90% to be competitive. Would you?

eek :o I booked some flights hehe Big thanks to bonezAU for putting this up I need a holiday.

  • just came back from malaysia with my super cheap air asia flights (it was advertised as $149 one way but you pay extras like food, luggage & blanket etc + fees ). booked it ages ago and was so skeptical (bad experience with tiger air and friends had problems with jetstar so a bit reluctant with these low cost airlines), so impressed with their service, friendly efficient staff on check in & cabin crew, on time both trips, nice seat good legroom, food taste ok, overall very happy. will look at this deal & have another holiday woohoo!!! its much cheaper than travelling in Aust.

  • Cant see any $144 flights…cheapest I can see are %200-215 return perth to bali. Most flights are more than that though.

  • Looks like they are all booked out that price?… at least DPS -> PER on the 4/11.. its not $35 anywhere on any date? :\

  • Its funny that I got this deal last year ($35 perth to bali) And I was shocked that the plane was fairly empty!!!
