Unless you jailbreak your console. I've got a ps4 and barely use the disc drive now as everything is stored on external drives. I do hate digital consoles though, as they kind of kill the market for used games :(
i will await around the 4th or 5th year of the console to have an external Blu ray rom for $250

That's not an opinion, that's just factually wrong. It's a PS5 without a disc drive, runs games to the same level of performance as the disc version.
And as there was never a PS4 without a disc drive, this thing is, if anything, even more of a PS5 than the disc edition. Now THAT'S an opinion
@govarescum: I think you confuse with xbox that use different internal hardware between series S (digital) and series X.
PS5 use same hardware between digital version and disk version, the only different is the present of disk drive.@mfu: the ps5 is a glorified ps4 pro does 60fps woohoo… some extra shaders and a few cleaner crisper games… the same old games remastered etc. its as bad as wow classic.

It’s awesome that getting a PS5 is easier now, but paying $150 for a second controller sucks, especially when they come up for almost half of that every now and then

You can get these controllers at $95 at JB, and possibly cheaper if using gift cards
All in all, the digital PS5 console alone is $654-$664
