      Unless it is “rare” art and they pay someone to value the item at several million (after paying next to nothing for it in the first place) and they then donate the item to a museum out of the kindness of their heart.

    I don't want a Techron cap I want a bottle of Techron fuel additive to add to my car but they stopped selling(used to sell them in Caltex) it. What a stupid cap to promote something you cant buy anymore.

    Techron is added into Caltex Premium fuels.

          I have a stihl hat and people regularly ask me about the equipment I use and where I get it from, I’d say the stihl dealer that gave the hat to me has probably had at minimum 3 or 4 customers because of it, probably more.

        They claim to be giving away hats until they run out… so legally they have to give away "some hats"… could be 2 hats even to fulfil their requirements.

        Branded hats are free advertising though and a mega-corp like Caltex wouldn't even feel an itch dropping $50k on a hat promo\advertising scheme.

    There was limited stock, promotion was very well responded to, Caltex handling dispatch of hats, if you haven’t received by now stock must have been exhausted.

      I did contact V8Sleuth on there website this is the response,

      the caps are the responsibility of Caltex - they are handling the mailing out of these. I do know the promotion was successful and there were like more submissions that available caps.

      My own real advice would to keep your eyes on your mailbox over upcoming weeks to see if your successful.

        I've been in contact with Caltex in regards to the cap from 15 of November 2022 and there response was where did you get the information email or website. I told Caltex I got the info from V8Sleuth. Then next email came through from Caltex telling me that we have forwarded your concern to relevant team, it kept going back and forth from that message. I received another message from Caltex telling me that the team has yet provided any response on my inquiry and now closed my case. So in total I received 5 emails from Caltex. Sorry for the long recap, it's safe to say it was all a scam to steal information. And yet to receive a cap, has anyone ever got the cap?
