  • Are these any good with the food processor attachment vs a dedicated food processor?
Was in the market for a food processor but these look interesting..

    • Will let you know when it arrives…

    • Very happy with the food processor attachment. Made wet seasoning mix and coleslaw no problems.

  • Anyone know why the Bamix blenders are so much more expensive than these? Does the Bamix do something the Braun doesn't? Durability or something else? Even the motor is less powerful than the Braun, so I don't get why they're so pricey.

    • +1

Bamix are made in Switzerland. Arguably better quality. But yeah I think they can be a bit less powerful than the others, though I have some high power Phillips one and it’s not very good. It taught me that good stick blitzing isn’t just about motor power.

My mother in law has a Bamix and she whips cream heaps faster than I can with my stick mixer (10yr old Braun).

I’ve been tempted to buy a Bamix but still waiting for it old Braun to die. Both stick mixers we have came with food processing cups but both have died (bearings/cogs chewed out).

      • I ended up walking into GoodGuys and grabbing the MultiQuick 9, slightly more watts power for not much more.

        • Braun are great, I think they are solid for design and quality.
But I think their recent ones have a safety switch that needs held down while turning the knob or something. That’s turned me off them.

  • I'm hoping the multiquick 9 drops to $150 again at some point…
