Seems to be the most recommended webcam for people wanting to upgrade from their laptop potato cameras. RRP of $199 but does anyone actually pay that?

I had one of these, or was it the previous gen, when I was working in the office. It seemed pretty good. But WFH I just got a cheapie; https://www.amazon.com.au/Logitech-960-000584-HD-Webcam-C270… - it was about 20 something $ at the time.

  • I think the Logitech Streamcam and Razer Kiyo Pro are better than this?
But they are also $50 more.

You likely don't need anything better for working from home use.

The stereo mics on these are a real step. If you spend hours on calls and sick of headphones and earbuds, its a lot more workable.

Buy the Creative Live V2 Cam instead. It is $49 with free shipping and the quality is better.

I've got the Creative Live V2, it's no good.

That comparison doesn't really portray the Creative Cam well, the image is very over sharpened, it struggles with exposure and the colours are unnatural

  • Is this better than the logitech streamcam or whatever its called? Not streaming but wanted the best clarity under say low light conditions. dont care about the mic.
