      Me want Dell 38"

      • +2

Yeah - still waiting for mine to arrive from that special day.
        Haven't had a cancellation yet.

LG 38gn950 would be nice at this price 🤞🏼

    • They seem to be the same on rtings ratings. Whats the difference other than freesync and gsync?

  • must be pricing error ! extra 1 at the front is the typo

    • +1

Incorrect, its the last number 9
      Should be $159

That's the Dell way. Drop to 10% of real price and not deliver what I bought in good faith :).

I use this as my main monitor and there's something special about the image quality on this, always notice it after using other monitors. This can also do 10 bit colour @ 120Hz which is what I have it set to.
The only downside is there's no automatic input switching.

I’m hoping we will see 2160P ultra wides soon, obviously the bandwidth is the issue but whatever standards whether HDMI/DP or TB get updated should hopefully make this feasible

It's on the market already. And the price is start from $1784.

      Lenovo P40w-20
      LG 40WP95C
      Dell U4021QW
      HP Z40c G3

      • Thank you! The U4021QW is definitely the sexiest offering of the lot..
No doubt it will work with my MacBook Pro 2019, Need to see how a PC with Intel or Nvidia graphics can connect (bandwidth wise since it wouldn’t have TB).

Will keep my eyes out for a Dell eBay special price + store-wise discount!

I prefer Lenovo P40w-20 because it has slightly higher refresh rate, 75Hz, and an additional thunderbolt 4 output for daisy chaining.

          • @O O: Excellent points, advice is much appreciated

  • Can I have a PC hooked up by displyport and a Mac on the thunderbolt?

    • Yes, I use mine like that sometimes.
macOS looks way worse than windows though due to the way it handles scaling (blurry text mainly), you can improve it with tools like BetterDisplay but it's still not ideal.

      • Thanks the Dell 38" lack of two decent connection ports made it a no go for me… but this seems pretty good.

    • +2

Yes. I have mine setup like this. I feed the USB out of the monitor into a KM Switch to switch peripherals. I have a 11 port USB hub attached to the switch..

Switching displays isn't auto and equires a few pushes on the monitor control button.

  • Not the lowest it's been 🤣

  • Great monitor for work and gaming. USB-C Hub works a treat for my laptop and crystal clear. After hours I switch to my gaming PC and it power out at up to 144hz. I pre-ordered and got it day 1 and its been a great value purchase. At this price even better!

  • Wanted this monitor badly. But after reading about the C2, i will skip this.

    • What did u read about it ?

      • I wanted this for wide screen gaming, but then you can do the same with LG C2 with aspect ratio selection. Same price, OLED and you can go full 4K and then use built in TV. More bang for the money.

    • +1

I read about C4 and it changed my life

  • Same price at Mwave. Ends 09/10/2022 it says.

  • Anyone know of any good ultrawide curved monitors with 1000R curvature that arent the Samsung 49 inch behemoths?
