The $1200 gift card + 100GB bonus data is practically identical to this one at JB Hifi (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/728626)

But, the Good Guys are running a $500 gift card + 40GB bonus data as well. Not quite as good as other deals in the last few months, but it's an alternative.

Useful to know if the Good Guys is closer than JB Hifi or you want something specifically sold at that store.

Not worth it if its 24 months

  • Is the 500 for $69 plan for 12 months?

    • +1

      Says 24 months

    • Yes , just for you !

Should have stated $1200 GC for $99 monthly plan and $500 GC for $69 monthly plan, both for 24 months.

Limited amount of characters in the heading, plus I wanted to mention the bonus data and any important limitations (i.e. new/port in customers and it's only in-store).

      • Then you dont have price in title which is required

      • Remove those “bonus” words as we all know the GC values and included data are part of the plans anyway.

This explains why there are Telstra vans taking up 4-5 parks out the front of the local Good Guys…

    This is a horrible deal

  • anyone recently picked up telstra esims from jb ? or are eSims only a telstra shop thing?

    • -2

It's not that hard to pick up your phone and give JB a call is it ?

      • +1

it's okay to admit you don't know.

eSIMs are not physical so you can't "pick them up".

You can switch from physical SIM to eSIM by yourself with the My Telstra App. No need to visit or call JB.

Telstra FAQ is pretty detailed - https://www.telstra.com.au/support/mobiles-devices/esim-dual…

      • thanks.

i switched away from telstra previously when they didn't offer esims, so didn't know it's this easy now.

  • Is this deal expired or i'm just blind?

  • This is a shitty deal, the Telstra website itself has better pricing, lol

    • It's alright if you want the gc to buy something. E.g. me who wants an MBP lol
